    This one... ummm... started out as a West Park... something.Then I got a little carried away with making it liveable.

    Given that I have no extra lights and using the Sun/Sky only I think it is working fine Jack.

    No postwork, straight out of DS, 28 hours to render, not bad considering 3DL would have taken longer.

    Thanks Mel it isn't so much about patience anymore as I can render and surf the net at the same time. Different story before Jan '15 when I only had a dual core system. Now with the i7 and 16 GB of Ram things render a lot faster. Next is to get an additional GC so I can render faster.

    yes apart from the daylight render

    ..so how long did it take to render?  Usualy the more emissive lights in the scene the longer it takes.

    the last one took 48 hours using CPU only i7 Quad 3770 3.4GHZ and 16 GB ram

    ...ouch. Hope you don't have Win 10. Would hate it if the system rebooted two thirds into the render process because of an update.

    That is why I would need at least a Titan-X with 12 GB VRAM if not a Q M6000 with 24.
