    Hi, I am new to Daz and am looking for advice. My first question is how to I submit my picture for the beginners contest?

    bloodsnhall Welcome. If you look on page on of this thread you will jotice this contest was for July and has now ended. We have a new one for September http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/6951/

    Yes, and as Jaderail has already told you in your thread, the Contest changes every month, and runs only for that month. The Current contest is about working with Props, so your submission should have your character using props, either holding them or reacting with them in some way.

    May contest was composition
    June Contest was using light
    July Contest was Posing
    August Contest was DOF
    September is Using props

    So altogether we are aiming for helping new users in all the various things that will make their renders better.
