I got a headache.   I ordered a fifty five gallon aquarium stand, well impulsively.

    55 gallons be a condo

I had 3 55 gallon tanks, all using big bio-wheel filtration combined with a Fluval canister filter.. water in all my tanks was clear, clean, and made for very happy fish - even the discus were happy and they're notoriously picky about water quality.

Tank 1: 6 botia modesta, 2 zipper loaches, 4 botia morleti.  Non-stop loachy fun!

Tank 2: 4 angelfish, all marbles, and about 8 corydoras catfish of vaious species.  They corys are miniature armored catfish and abiut as cute and harmless as you could wish, they'd even shae food and have a group meal on algae tables!

Tank 3: Four Cobalt Blue discus and six warm-water corydoras catfish.  I really miss my discus and corys. sad

Also had a 135 gallon, six foot long river tank I got from the ex in the divorce.  Contained eight clown loaches of varying size, from Fraidy Loach who was only about three and a half inches long, to the tank boss Major Loach who was pretty close to six inches long and FAT!  Close to two inches wide and three tall, she was LARGE and IN CHARGE. surprise

Ha, can't blame anyone for not wanting to run around in it.  The taxi trip in today was a mess!  Supposed to be nice tomorrow and Saturday, then.. back to rain. indecision

I'm going to start looking for a new job.  They've set me an impossible task, there are 98,000 lines of code (not comments, just C++ code) in this system, no way can one person digest all this and produce nice, pretty, easy to understand documents. frown

Isn't it strange how the crack exactly followed the yellow line.   Maybe they should use a different brand of paint next time.

Sipping mint tea to try to relax, seems to help a bit.  Working on my resume' as well, I need to come up with a single-page or two-page teaser. frown

My goal is to turn in my 2 weeks notice within a week of getting my foot prostesis.  I'm going to update my online resume' over the weekend and turn on my "available for new work" flag that lets recruiters find me.  I'd prefer a full-time job, but that takes a lot longer to find so I'm of two minds about it.

I finally came up with an understandable way to describe his job, last night online, FINALLY people get it!

Assume your boss came to you and handed you a book that was over 90 thousand lines long - a big, thick, dry book - and told you that you had to write a summary of the plot, all major and minor points, and provide diagrams and charts on the flow of the important bits.  The books subject is dull as dishwater and you can't read more than about 10 pages before your head hurts and you grind your jaws and tense your muscles until the stress gives you headaches and screws with your sleep.

And the deadline is not that far off, there's nobody to help you, and only a ew notes hidden throughout the book that sometimes - not always - decribe something that MIGHT be going on.

    Welcome to my job.

Yes, very sad.  I didn't like everything that he did, some was just strange.  But I did like a lot of the major hits.  And as a musician I really admired him.  I never forget the time he joined the folks on the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame induction of George Harrison...his solo in While My Guitar Gently Weeps was superb!
