    Musical intro....

"Karma Karma Karma Karma Karma Chameleon
    You come and go
    You come and go..."

Yeah, it might work. You can fit G3F stuff to G3M... right?

I just snorted tea all over my keyboard!

He is very well done and I do hope that we see more real world characters from this PA

Excellent. I know a guy that size pushing 100 but he never smoked. I guess you have to be in shape just to carry around that kind of weight.

Heck, with "Wear Them All", you could put V4 stuff on him! Or M4, Genesis or Genesis 2. Just think of the possibilities!

Not sure about G3F but worth a try!

Don't have a render ready yet, but I don't think you want to use him at much less than 30-40% at a minimum, if you want him to have any noticeable effect on any other morph you might use in combination, or if you want to do a "what George looked like when he was a little skinnier" version. Below that, he's just not very distinctive, and he kind of ... disappears, for lack of a better word. He's not quite as big as he looks, oddly enough. Not quite.

I think he's absolutely magnificent!!! I'm really hoping he'll sell in the gazillions, cos it might show to the Powers that Be that there ARE artists out here looking for figures who are normal, unique, different, not your bog standard cookie-cutter beautiful white girl (don't get me wrong, I do love my Eva's and Olympia's and Vicki's etc.....but I need diversity). George is just amazing.

He's a repeat daily mindblower on the final catchup day... I think he's going to do well (with my current cart I save money by buying him o.o)

    Kerya:

I would do your purchase without the PC+ Membershiop and open a Support Ticket. In a similar case (4 Newly Mad Items for Free Outfit an 16% Gift Cert 3 weeks ago) Everything was sorted out by support.

Die machen das sehr gut und kulant!

I also just opened a Support Ticket to get DMB Rebate (also bought him yesterday) on todays purchase.

Yes works well And Even G2F

    Let me Introduce:

    Ballerina George:

Panties where tricky I was not able to get a G2F or G3F to fit (at least in this pose) Even for this G3M (that I applied a lace shader to) needed some fiddleing.

Unfortunally it is a bit overexposed on the skirt. Better Version is rendering, will post later

What is the difference between the "RSL" and "MDL" icons? There are two George!Bald icons, one has RSL top right corner, and one has MDL top right corner.

  • RenomistaRenomista Posts: 921

One is 3DL one Is Iray I belive MDL = Iray but not 100% sure, and can't check while rendering

  • jakibluejakiblue Posts: 7,281

Ah thanks :D I thought that might be it, still not sure which is which tho, as I have "Iray" selected under "materials" in Smart Content and both are showing. Think the metadata is going to need an update on this one.

I don't think I'll be buying George because he doesn't really fit in with my current plans, but I meant what I said about thinking he's great. This thread should live forever, continually updated with what George is up to, like a 'Postcards from the holiday gnome' kind of thing. George the construction worker, George the ballerina... can't wait to see what he tries his hand at or where he goes next :)

  • Great to see something different.  The sort of thing I will buy just to show support and encourage more similar offerings in future, even though I have no immediate use for it.  Hoping for maybe a 'Georgina' to pair up with him!  Sadly, I already did the 'support the innovative' for the Lekkulion and Grey Alien, so budget is gone for now :(.

One of my planned projects is concept art from the Dune universe. This guy will serve as an excellent base for Baron Harkonnen.

I like the way you're thinking.

Apparently (by the thread) you weren't the only one.

As Promised here a better render of Ballerina George, looks much better without the overexposure

I think George is pretty awesome.

He is wonderful, but he looks so much like an old boss of mine that is better I try my best to ignore his face in the catalog. Denise

  • He reminds me a bit of John Goodman.

I don't have much in the way of G3M clothing, so I started going through things for other characters and this came to mind.  With Bellatrix as well.

I was just thinking... we need some real world female characters too. Let it not be over until a fat lady sings. cool

Seriously... I don't really need 27,000 stunning beauties in my runtime. I need some real world women. Stonemason's "Urban Sprawl 3" is coming, and I'd like to not have crowd scenes where everyone is young and vibrant and scantilly clad. I need an old couple sitting on a park bench feeding the pigeons.

Also going to need some real world clothing... but that might be stretching it a bit...

Just going to make a little request for people not to veer too much into mocking overweight people.

by clinical standards I am overweight and I am not offended in the slightest, he's a 3d character.

Renomista, nice render, makes him look kinda muscular for a big guy. Now that i am seeing some of the renders, I am getting some fun ideas for renders, hmmmmm.

    Angelreaper, nice one also!

Timmins I would cheerfully bet money that well over 75% of the people making fun fall into the "overweight" catagory themselves.

    No kidding.

Sheriff George! I tried to put him in the i13 coffee shop, but apparently that's Iray only, which I don't have (funny, it didn't see that anywhere on the product description when I bought it.) Lighting and everything else is very rough, I'll play more later. Would love to put some facial hair on him and tweak him to look like Jackie Gleason from Smokey and the Bandit!

PS. "Wear Them All" works perfectly on George. He's wearing the M4 police officer uniform and headwear with sheriff textures. (Though I have to tweak his badge later.)

    It's Boss Hog!

Yep, that's definitely an instant purchase. The face alone is worth it. He would make an excellent villain in my stories. I encourage more characters that's different from the base models in the shop. I never purchase characters that are only slightly different from Genesis, Michael or Victoria. I mean, what's the point of that when you have plenty of morphs to make something unique yourself.

As for George, you would need to make specific clothing and textures for him to look real, so there's that.  But in a storyboard, you would never really show a character like this from head to toe.

I haven't picked him up yet, but I think he might make a good base for a Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) character, using one of these:
