When I try to change my account info on RuntimeDNA I' redirected to the DAZ registration page - http://www.daz3d.com/runtime-dna. There should be an option to sync on the page instead of registering since I I'm already registered at DAZ..

I've reported this, in the meantime you can submit a support ticket to make sure they merge your accounts.

Is there any way we can get an explanation of the reason why? Not being antagonistic, it just doesn't make any sense.

    As frogimus said

the advice on nudity in the forums does say

there must be opaque clothing of some kind over the area, or it must be screened by solid scenery and props in the scene: bars, emoticons, chickens and cats that are extraneous to the image aren't enough (and frequently look silly, even where the image is otherwise serious)

The reference to chickens and cats was due to one person who thought it funny to use little buetit birds, cats and cockerels to cover the relevant parts.

I wonder who that was blush

    This has been fixed.

What I asked two days ago - still waiting for an answer please...

And for people who have hundreds, even thousands, of products already in their DAZ product library is there going to to an easy filter in our Product Library for "just the stuff that's been transferred across from RDNA" ?

I've got all my confirmation emails from my purchases saved in a special daz folder :)

Someone else as paranoid as I am. :)

I don't have them separated by folder, but I do have one folder for all 3D content confirmation e-mails. including several for now defunct sites.

Maybe not quite as paranoid then. :)

I just noticed two sets of Dusk poses showed up at Hivewire (IDG is Island Girl) which were formerly sold RDNA. So perhaps that answers the question.

... trying to wait patiently for some sort of idea when more RDNA products are going to show up in the store and how we'll find them in our accounts ...

It's a new use for the DAZ emoticon.  Though I'd actually prefer it if they put trenchcoats on everyone. Including those gratuitously nude animals.

I (along with others) are actively working on getting things migrated over as seamlessly and easily as possible. I don't want to talk in hard schedules because I am still getting all of my ducks lined up in a row, but it is in motion.

Oh, I'm sure.  As I said, I'm trying to be patient, since I'm sure it's a major job.

Doesn't keep me from wondering what the progress is (and complaining about it), but I understand why we're not getting much in terms of solid timelines.

Is there any way to get an official confirmation that you see our RDNA account? I would like to see if I need to resolve some connection issue or if everything is ok for the eventual transfer.

I don't think we have anythnig planned for this. If you see us announce that your RDNA contents should be available in your content library and you don't see anything there then you can either try changing your RDNA email address or contact support.

Still hoping for an answer to my March 4th post here, and my earlier March 2nd post here, and I discovered today that the thread has been unstickied. So I'll ask again directly (those links sometimes end up at the wrong post, sometimes at the right post) before this thread disappears into the oblivion of the older commons threads.

    1) Will products that migrate from RDNA to DAZ show up in our Product Library at DAZ with the original RDNA purchase date? Yes? No?

    2) I assume that nothing will be shown in our accounts at RDNA regarding what has been successfully transferred to DAZ. Is that correct?

    3) For people who have hundreds, even thousands, of products already in their DAZ product library is there going to to an easy filter in our Product Library for "just the stuff that's been transferred across from RDNA" ?

I'd be happy with that as an interim response if it came from DAZ...  angel

Hopefully they will migrate with the original purchase date. There is another person in charge of migrating the product library associations, so I'm not 100% sure, but that person is very good at their job so more than likely it will come over with the original purchase date.

    2) I assume that nothing will be shown in our accounts at RDNA regarding what has been successfully transferred to DAZ. Is that correct?

Correct, the current plan is for nothing to be shown in the RDNA account page. You should see that your account is linked when you see your purchased products in your Product Library in your Daz account (after the migration is done)

    3) For people who have hundreds, even thousands, of products already in their DAZ product library is there going to to an easy filter in our Product Library for "just the stuff that's been transferred across from RDNA" ?

The Product Library pages will not be getting any new features between now and when the migration is done. However, we will probably add something to make those items more discoverable in the store, so you could combine that along with unchecking "show items I own" to see the store listing of things you have purchased from RDNA.

Not sure if this has been asked, but will the content migrate over with the same product names?   So will I be able to search for an item  in the store from my wish list from there, for example

SciWizard dynamic cloak for Victoria 4

What about gifts to me?  Will I still keep them?

    From the first post

Then as product migrate they will just show up in your account (including free items, gifts, etc.)

Yes, gifts will move like the other items. I'll have to look up exactly where that was posted, but I know it was as I was asking.

Seems like the easy and logical thing to do would be to just add a "- RDNA" to the end of the product names.  That way a simple search filter would show it up in both the individual customer's product pages as well as DIM, but wouldn't result in the R products category in Content Manager being unaturally large or mess with the alphabetical order.

Just a silly question: the transfer is already ongoing for someone?

I think that this is an elegant solution and should be strongly considered!

I have the same email addy on RDNA and DAZ, but different account names. My preference is to use the DAZ account name. I would assume the account migration will work that way, or do I need to message somebody?

  • SpottedKittySpottedKitty Posts: 7,232

Something else I just thought of while looking over my folder of archived downloads — will the .zips be given DAZ-style product names? The only minor issue I had with stuff I bought from RDNA is that some of the downloads weren't very clearly named as to just what they were; I had to remember to add some description to the .zip name as I downloaded it, otherwise I'd quickly lose track of what was which.

Thanks DAZ_Rawb for that response. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I also agree with DanaTA that something like Cybersox13's suggestion (appending "-RDNA" to the product name) might be the easiest and most useful-to-us-customers way to do it.

As long as it is the same email, everything is fine. The RDNA name will not overwrite your Daz name.
