Hair Conversion System Question

The Netherworks Hair conversion system such as this one that is now on sale: http://www.daz3d.com/hair-conversion-system-ii-for-victoria-4 list both DAZ Studio and Poser as compatible software byut the description seems to indicate that it relies on Poser Python scripts. Will it work satisfactorily in DS 4.9?

    From the docs:

"This package is suitable for use with Poser 7 and higher (including the "Pro" versions).  It is supported in Windows (XP and higher) and MAC OSX 10.4+.  It is not suitable for use in Poser Debut or DAZ Studio."

I imagine though (haven't tried it yet) that converted hairs will work in DS as well.

Sorry, the above is from the 2014 version purchased at RDNA, probably not the same...

I've checked the PDF for the DAZ version, and it says this:

"For Basic conversions of hair, this System is all-inclusive. The magnets and scripts are provided for you and everything can be done inside of Poser or DAZ Studio."

But (unless it's been updated since) it's from 2008 so I've no idea whether it's compatible with the latest DS versions.

    Taozen:

Thanks for the info. The hairs it would convert are pretty old anyway and I think I'll skip getting it unless someone is actually using it in DS 4.9 and is getting good results

As far as DS is concerned it's just sets of magnets. The Python scripts for Poser mainly, if not entirely, do things that are available already from the DS DForm pane.

Thanks Richard. I have decided to pass on that one.
