Great renders folks. Love this plugin but, like Will, waiting for 2.0 to use in iRay
How do I find my personal code to activate my full plugin?
Never mind ... figured it out :D
LAMH is great,
I managed to pull in the Mammoth done with LAMH into the Vue program and it came in two parts. The main figure and the Hair. Had to group it together but that was no big deal. Rendered great too. Still much to learn about it for me but it is fun.
Why is my editor screen blue? And why can't I see my wolf so I can give him hair?
I can see by the tutorial it's supposed to be blue, but it keeps crashing every time I try to load it into the editor.
The empty LAMH editor is blue -- unless you change it in the settings dialog. Make sure that your model is imported (select it in the dropdown, and click on the button to the right of the selector).
Which wolf are you using? If you experience a crash, send the logFile.txt file stored in documents/Daz 3d/studio/lookatmyhairAM to me. This needs to be done immediately after the crash since the log is overwritten each time that Studio is started.

Thats not true. See here: https://askabiologist.asu.edu/colors-animals-see
edit - nm, someone else addressed it. But it is very much a myth, almost no animals cannot see color, evolution selects for it and has across all lineages for the advantages color sight conveys, depending on circumstance. MOst monkeys and primates see the same as we do. Birds see more colors that we can. It is a cool fascinating subject.
I was 20 as well. And a mom. As soon as I saw it I thought "Hey, it's a Luck Dragon!" LOL. Nice image timmins :)

Whew, computer back. And here we have a terrifying battle between kaiju!!
It looks like the new computer is serving you well.
That's pretty funny Will! lol
ARGH.
I gotta remember to save stuff without LAMH in it.
Crashed, then every time I try to open the file it says resolution doesn't match and crashes again. sigh. 2 hours down the drain.
Edit:
Oh, thank goodness. Since I have my content folders in Dropbox directory, it has pretty easy change management and I was able to flip to an earlier save. YAAAY
You can recover. Contact me via email.

Now that's a bad hair day. :)
THERE we go. That took a bit of bronco riding.
Engard, pussycat!
Here's one I did a while back.
Stunning White Tiger there Ironside!!!! I so love white tigers!!!
Pretty kitty ...
Did you grow the hair yourself or use the hair that came with it?
It was the hair from http://www.daz3d.com/white-tiger-for-daz-big-cat-2 converted to fibremesh hair then modified with a tweaked 3rd party shader.
Hoping it's LAHM hair...
Yes, it's LAMH hair, converted to fibremesh via LAMH.
Out of curiosity, why convert it to fibermesh?
Just a precisation, the right tern is FiberHair (fibermesh are used by ZBrush). Fiberhair produce an optimized geometry mesh, usually up to 30-40% lighter than a straight 'to OBJ' export, without appreciable quality loss. Thus ideal for Iray or external renderers.
Ohhh ... ok.
Another 3DL render!
And yes, there's LAMH somewhere in this render... can you spot it?
Took me a minute, but spotted a small, furry critter! Nice render!
Amazing render :D
Anytime anybody says we need Iray for realism, show them this!!!
These are a couple of experiments I did and posted in the LAMH thread. The Bat hair is my own; the Wolf hair is a LAMH preset; I used my own shader which is the Iray Uber tweaked.
