How can I download these so they keep their original name and don't create a generic alphanumeric name?

Good question.  I'm not actually sure if that's possible.

You can't. You do 'Save Image as...' and rename it.

Thanks all. I just didn't know if I was missing something. I'll just keep renaming. I don't want to forget the origin of the files.

    Hi Crescent,

I am finding this link downloads the first zip file again, and the download page doesn't stay open long enough for me to change the end of the address to 02.zip.

Many thanks for these, and hope to download the second set.

    Kind regards,

    @musicplayer    You're very welcome.
May I suggest putting an @ in front of Crescent's name or post another message, so they'll hopefully get notified about your comment. I'm not sure if you edit and put the @ in, that they'll receive it.

Large background, many done with the help of Deviney's photoshop brushes, backgrounds and some odds and ends.

I also snagged the cool wispy curtains by @lyam - thank you

And a few of the fuschia to orange linens from @Novica.  To tell the truth, until I saw them, I didn't think I would ever like the combo of fuschi/orange, but you showed me ;)

I know what you mean- I was testing some of them the other day and finding gray and peach go well together too.

A little vintage lace, then lace cut off so you can use the midsection to do your own thing, then a bit of blue sci-fi, blue and white sci-fi, and white sci-fi.

Showing you just a few of the ones below.

Here's some fantasy/smoke/hint of fire ones for you. First, start with a gradient fill. Then go light blue/gray, and build from there. For the last one, with the hint of fire, then add your yellow. Next is orange. Both of those should be specific areas, and you don't want to do ALL the areas the same. Note on your right hand bottom corner, I left that with more yellow. Then I enlarge the area and covered the lower 3/4th of it with a red, transparency 8%.  Enjoy!

The last one is the basic one. Take it, play with it, and see what you come up with! I love it, it's so EEERIE!

The lace patterns are very interesting.  Aside from backgrounds, would those brushes be used to paint over clothing etc?

The moderators were nice to point out the wording in the ReadMe licensing mentioned collections, so to be on the safe side, the lace ones were pulled. Yes, you can set the transparency of the brushes, so I would think you could do that. Particularly since in Photoshop you can change the shape by pulling on the circle in the pallet, and make it more of a squished oval, for example, where the sleeves bend at the elbow.

These are wonderful! Are they available to be used commercially or private use only?

If you're talking the lace ones, those were private only and we weren't sure, so that's why they were pulled.  Any others I do are free to use but I don't know what other people used, so they'd have to say on those.  Mine are combinations of brushes or blobs I paint myself using watercolor, charcoal, etc- then texture with Corel Photo Paint to severely distort using emboss, elephant skin etc, then mix a multitude of brushes over it.  So sure, use as you see fit.
