The depths of space became much more interesting. The low gravity of their home world gifted them with long limbs and a towering presence, but their most unique features are the prehensile tails that emerge from their head. When asked about the purpose of the tails, they simply smile.

The set comes complete with custom crafted High Definition Morphs, and a highly detailed texture set, suitable for Iray and 3DL

    yes......without my alien morphs turned on...they work very well for that (but that is purely coincidence ;)  )

    I wonder if it would hurt if one of them prehensile tails is cut?!  Looking at the images just makes me want to do just that!

    nope...I make my characters off the base mesh. To keep it simple for everyone :)

    the tails are a graft, so you can just delete the graft if you dont want it.

    There might be a slight texture seam, but I tried to keep it very minor

    Good to see them in the store now. Do the tails happen to have any morphs besides movement ones (like thickness or length)?

    hi @SnowSultan,

    I see length in the HeadTails poses.

    For thickness you are able to select single sections of the tails a nd scale them up to your liking.

    I scaled every second section to 150% in the sample below.

    Hope that is what you´re looking for.

    So yeah...the Geografts can be used nicely without the alien morph for "different" looks

    BTW, is that the R2 that was released at Vanishing Point a little while back? Is it rendered in Iray? I have the complete droid set, and I'm gradually sorting out Iray materials for them, but it's a slow job.

    I was thinking that the feet would have to be geo-grafted add-ons like the tails because it would be hard to use morphs alone to make 5 toes into 3. But apparently this is achieved with morphs only? Is that correct?

    Yes the R2 is the one from vanishing point.

    The feet are indeed morphs.

    Thank you so much.

    I am loving this creation so much.

    So expressive in the face.

    The lines and muscles of the body and limbs are incredible.

    Infinite bonus points for making the tail poses easy to use and natural.

    I do not recommend things very often.  But I do not hesitate with this.

    Just beautiful in the end.
