House Cat Eyes

Not sure if this is the right spot for this question. If not, please direct me to the right place. I have the Daz House Cat with dForce Hair | Daz 3D but I do not know how to change the cat's eye color. I need a solid white cat with yellow eyes. The white cat supplied has blue eyes & i cannot figure out how to change them. I couldnt find anything to change the house cat besides what comes with it. For some reason i did not find materials for the eyes alone. TBH I may have over looked it, my mind is scattered rn & I am completley heartbroken. My BELOVED 12 1/2 year old cat, Sid passed away & i would like to immortalize him. If you know, please help me. Also are there any good Genesis 9 & house cat poses. I'm not finding many.Thank you.

You can always edit the texture yourself. Although, the eye is only about 576x576 of the 4k image that is the cat. I don't know enough about actual cats to try to recolor the eyes.
If you can't find what you need, this should be a case where the Google AI can help, especially if there is already a picture you like. You can render an image of the cat, using background, pose, etc.. and run your best render. Upload the image to the google page and simply tell the AI to change the eye color of the cat to yellow. Be very specific to add the text 'Do not change anything else' to the prompt and Do not change anything else. immediately download the image. It should change the eye color of the cat and leave everything else the same. Use a copy of ther first image if you can experiment later with contrast, light, exposure, etc...
will a UV template help you?
I added an 8K texture you can edit in your favourite program
doesn't matter that it's black as you only need to use it for the eyes
is 8K, download the thumbnail
Is there a reason you cannot change the diffuse/base texture colour of just the iris under surfaces?
Wendy beat me to it. If there's a cat color with yellow eyes, you can go into surfaces and choose the iris (don't remember what it was called, but I think they were clearly labeled) find diffuse and load whichever color map has yellow eyes. If none of them do, it gets more complicated, but that won't make it undoable.
Edit: Looked at the maps, none of them look quite yellow to me, but the calico one has sort of golden orangey eyes that I was able to tweak to a convincing looking gold easily using gimp's hue-saturation controls. Depending on the shade of yellow you want, you might use a copy of the map set to "addition" to lighten it a little more (that leaves the dark shaded parts of the iris closer to their default shading than just running "lightness" way up does).
You can change the iris color by changing the Iris texture in the Surface tab.
1) change to another provided texture (there are differences, but require you to look closely)
2) paint a new texture based on the UV map Wendy attached
3) modify a provided texture in an image editing sw, e.g. by change hue, lightness and saturation. Note that such texture is only for your own use and cannot be redistributed.
This is with method 3.
Thank you WendyLuvsCatz for the uv map, it can be useful!:)

Poses for Daz Cat:
For G8 + Daz Cat (can use a converter for G8 -> G9):
What a cute cat Sid was—he has such a sweet expression. I understand your pain; I have two 8-year-old cats whom I adore, and I still look back with great affection on the cat I had before, who passed away at the age of 13.
a beautiful floof
I miss every cat I had
I'm in the same boat as Wendy.
The first cat I was owned by is the one in my Avatar. He had the two of us from July 1990 to 28 March 2004. He was between 5 & 7 when he adopted us. Despite the fact he died 22.5 years ago, I miss him swearing at me every day.
Regards,
Richard
