Beginners Guide to Scripting in DAZ Studio | Daz 3D

I Have never heard of scriptiong in relation to Daz. In what ways would it help me or would it be a waste of $1.99

Need answer before the sale ends.

I haven't got it. I have dabbled with simple scripting. Just a few thoughts: it won't be for DS6, much too early, so may not fully work with DS6. Do you learn best from video or reading? Are you hard of hearing and/or do you understand different accents from your own easily? Video is easier to learn from with 2 screens, do you have 2? Have you ever done object oriented programming, if not you may need to come to it after getting a few oop basics. You will also need to use the DS scripting documentation. It is the best documented feature of DS, but it could be improved a lot and needs a lot of testing to verify and understand what's being said. Just a few things to think about. Regards, Richard.

You can. There is a scripts directory in your My DAZ Content Libvrary folder and it likely already has examples. If you know how to program that's likely more helpful.

You can also writre plug-ins in a compiled language.
