MaloneXI.
Yep! They look great. The first one calls to mind heroic 'Red Sonja' ... minus the chestnut red hair of course. I'm always impressed with how you keep the painterly style consistent.
Cheers!
Thanks , mate. I'm still affining the style and the direction of the scene.
Very painterly. Nice work.
:p
Here is the last one for today before changing for an entire new subject.
In this one, I find the sword placement of the girl atop the dragon a bit awkward, like my brain is telling me that she's holding the sword wrong. You could always follow the visual lines of the dragon's head to position the sword along side that. I'm attaching what I mean.
Yep, the sword is not shining as a I wanted. It's not really visible, the pose might be enhance to understand well the sword positiin of the ennemy. It's never perfect, huhu, and i'm glad to have all these feedbacks. Working on it for hours ends up with not seeing the defaults lol
There's something really intersting with the snake model.
Here is my first try with it , but I'm sure there's something to find , concerning the fact that it could sneek between rocks or reliefs.
More to come :)
Here is a simply work , but in different angles. Give me your feedback about the one you prefer.
MaloneXI,
There are three long shots and one near short. Of the long shots, I like the last one most.
First image: The legs of the heroine is odd -- the camera angle isn't flattering as it foreshortens hwer lower torso and legs. Also, while snake and rider silhouettes are great, I think ambient light coming from the bottom or from the right side could reveal more detail; essentially, drawing the eye towards the heroine.
Second and fourth image: Both somehow are the same, except from opposite angles. But the fourth one has more dramatic lighting.
Lastly, the third one is the best. This near shot brings the drama into focus -- it tells the story best.
Cheers!
Little tries. I wanted a heroe who could incarnate the courage , litterally as the History tells about him. And "of course" , the spartans.

Yep , I know. The second image is a bit too mm...Sketchy. That is due to the light atmosphere of the scene, not enough lighted. It's not a good news , that could limit all the upcoming night scenes. Maybe it's time to upgrade my style.
Another work around the spartans. Really love the charism from them. Aesthetically , they are courageous. Even if they don't have a complete covering armor.
Great images as usual, and Ruby Red works really well in that pallette of colours!
Nothing special , I just wanted to make a picture with a dragon huhu.

MaloneXI,
I felt a warm feeling in my gut when I saw those scenes of yours where Spartans faced off against otherwordly beings. On and off, I've played RPG for many years. The images you shared reminded me of one I'm interested in recently: Cohors Cthulhu. The premise echoes those images you shared, except that millieu of that sword-and-sorcery game is the Roman Empire at its zenith.
When the RPG was still being developed, Modiphius teased its followers with the image below. Gosh! I was hooked.
Cheers!
Wouaaah , amazing !
The entire complexity of the scene gives the dramatic atmosphere to the scene. Incredible; I have some projects , as complex as this one. But the big advantage of Daz , is that you can produce a picture in a short time. An idea . bim! It's done if you have the good assets.
But yeah , you're right with this picture , witch is giving the wouah effect is the number of details in the scene. My scenes, maybe, are too simple. But , there , with the one with my 6 spartans , I tought that my pc was going to die huhu. And it's quite a problem. It's mainly because of this reason my scenes are designed to be enough "heavies" to be render without crach my computer ^^ .
Great picture , for sure. Fantasy role games are the best for that. The same thing is felt when you buy you first book Lord of the rings as a kid , and the cover is taking you before you read the first word :)
