Almost none of the plugins and many scripts do not run in DS6.
Some of the Genesis 9 developer tools did not work in Daz Studio 6*, but there was a recent update which has - I believe - addressed that. See these threads for more informationin general:

* Daz 3D is the company, Daz Studio is the application.
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/727631/daz-studio-2025-6-25-2025-x-evergreen#latest hasn't had an update in over a year.
I can't find any information about fixes to broken developer tools in https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/763291/daz-studio-6-25-0-x-general-release#latest. Where in that thread is this discussed? Or are you just saying that these threads might be useful to someone who has no idea about the DS6 development?
Is the change log the only place to find any information about each release's updates? Many of us find it very difficult to understand how statements in the change log apply to Daz Studio from a USER'S perspective. The change log seems like internal developer to developer notes. The current change log ends with a section about a Private Build Channel. There is no change log update shown for today's Public Build release. Am I to infer that the notes in the Private Build have now been elevated to a Public Build without updating the change log to say so?
It always seems to me that Daz developers spend a lot of effort creating new features, but Daz3D spends no effort to educate users on how to use those features. That is frustrating to me.
The real problem with the evergreen threads are you can't get notified when they change and unless you take frequent snapshots of them, you have no idea what's changed.
And none of this helps with knowing about PA plugins and scripts being worked on or not. There's only a handful of PAs who are openly talking about their efforts to update existing items.
Yes, I was pointing those out a general sources of information rather than saying they answered the specific questions.
Yes, the version numbers in the chnage log should carry over- so if the Public Build has the same or later number as a Private Build (which admitedly I find harder to read with the new system) then, barring any roll-backs of changes, it should incoprporate all the updates from the private builds.
Daz Studio 4 has manual download. Daz Studio 6 doesn't, at the moment only downloading via DIM, and no offline DIM download available. That's another difference.
Lucky me, having a forcibly off-line machine due to wi-fi limitations. Ho Hum.
