[Looking for a double-sided hair salon hand mirror] The various salon products in the store don't seem to have one

    What is the purpose of a double sided mirror? Is one side magnified?

    My description is wrong, it should be double-handed not sided. Mind you, double sided is also useful as one side could be as you suggested magnified.

    My aunt was a hairstylist and owned her own shop, and she had double-faced handheld mirrors at all her stations for all the employees. One side was a regular mirror, and the other side was magnified.

    Here is the mirror. It has 2 surfaces, frame and mirror.

    If you want it single sided, I can fill out one side.

    Only if you have the time, one sided only is a good option to have.

    Just a note for why an enlarged mirror side would be helpful is because when someone goes to a hairdresser and wears glasses to see, they will remove them and place them in a safe place (purse, pocket of coat, or the shelf of the station...). When done the stylist tries to show you the back when done, all you see is a blur depending on how bad your eyes are. That enlarging side is helpful to keep you from scrambling for your glasses, delaying your answer to the stylist. I have gone through that question dance too many times and then had to grab for my glasses because they only had a regular mirror.
