DAZ Studio 6 Wishlist instead

Since I assume, that DAZ is always happy to hear suggestions from their customers, I decided to post my wishlist here in the "Product Suggestion " section on what DS 6 should have been and maybe later still can become:
-Soft body dynamics
Like a huge dforce upgrade, so characters and objects have collisions with itself and others, based on presets like Clothes, Hard Surfaces, skin, Hair and different types of clothes.
... and just much faster, please.
Some other apps do clothes simulations in real time
-Mesh Smoothing
Multiple options for meshsmoothing. Available for single groups for different clothes at once.
-Anti scating for character animations.
No more feet sliding while walking feet stay pinned exactly wher you put them.
-Surface values can be controlled with the parameter ERC command.
e.g. controll the displacement strenght of an elbow wrincle map by moving the forearm.
-More support for Omni Shader, instead of PBR shader.
-Introduce and support cycles with shader support and get away from the Nvidea only policy.
-Launch DAZ Studio for Linux
-Release Genesis 10 female and Genesis 10 male and go back to include Mouth and Eyes meshes into the base figures.

    Good one, I missed it.

I wish a PA would make a non-subscription plugin similar to Mesh Grabber/Sculptor for DS6. I'm thinking someone like @Alvin-Bemar has the expertise to make a competing and possibly better product. He's made a lot of useful plug-ins and some of them have been improvements of already existing similar plug-ins, so it wouldn't be the first time we have 2 plug-ins that do the same thing basically. And I'm sure it would be profitable because I haven't read of one person who is happy with the DS subscription model just to get access to a basic need in Daz Studio.

Have the DS6 product library page permit manual downloads of DS6 for those who have an offline machine and have no online machine that can run DIM (or create DIM for Android). Until I get that, I can't know what else could do with improvements because I can't even download DS6. Soft body dynamics would be a fantastic upgrade, and could be done with a relatively coarse mesh yet bring a great improvement to the figure-object interaction shape. Regards, Richard.

    Additional perpetual liscence option.
And you've might already noticed, no word about AI, for a good reason.

No opinion about the eyes or the mouth, but they should keep the same system as Genesis 9: it's way easier to mix and match clothes, hairs, expressions, skins, etc, this way.

I know, easier for vendors ... only.

Yes, no non-gendered blobs!  Same Zero-Pose as G9.  Keep feet flat on the floor (and in the same position as G9F)  to make fitting shoes simpler.  Good joint-correction morphs built-in and adjusted for female and male charachters.

The G8 a position has actually created some problems, that could have been prevented with extra morphs.
In theory the G9 stance should have made it easier to have more realistic waist-hip-thigh shapes, but that didn't happen.
On the other hand, the G8 default leg position helped to create JCMs for better leg rotations.
    well, difficult ...

This is a thread for discussing Daz Studio 6, not a putative Genesis 10.

    Need Apple Silicon Native Support

  • I agree re silicon native support. I'm currently using an Intel Mac, but plan to replace it with an M4/5 in the coming months. I've invested a fair amount into Daz3d, and it would be very disappointing if the program no longer worked on a new computer. Daz is just a hobby, and I could not justify buying a separate PC just to use it.
