Can I turn off the morphs in a Dforce Clothing Item?
I am trying to use this dress with G9F kneeling on the ground working in her garden.
After several blow-ups, I am going to ask this.
I would NOT have the blow ups if I could turn off the morphs in the dress for a sitting pose.
When the timeline gets to the time of me wanting the skirt portion to flow on the ground, the morphs cause the skirt portion to tuck up under G9F's rear-end.
I have several Anime-Maid type outfits and I have tried several...with G9 and G8.
All tuck up under their rear end due to morphs in the skirt.
I have Googled this and cannot find an answer.
Thank you guys so much!!!

Morph or pose? You could always not fit the dress to the figure and just allow the simulation to handle it, though a timeline simulation should do that anyway. If the dress is going in an unhelpful direction relative to the pose, rather than because of a morph or joint bend, then you may need either to edit the animation or add one or more non-rendering props to push the fabric where you need it to go.
When an animation I have going stops, I want to show you an image. I should have done that when I posted.
I have attached an image of G9F in dForce Princess Petra's Maid Outfit for Genesis 9 | Daz 3D. It is the perfect outfit for my project, however. It bends under her rear end from morphs in it.
I have, also, shown G81F in a skirt I made in Meshy AI. I have to work on the simulation because it exploded. :(
Then, I have G81F in two outfits. The skirt is the "Blooms of Lace" by Lady LittleFox. The top is SU Maid Uniform. I have turn off parts of it.
As I said, the Princess Petra's Maid Outfit would be perfect for my Alice In Wonderland Project.
Left is G9 in desired outfit
Middle is G8.1F in Meshy AI skirt I made
Right is G8.1F in 2 outfits that I might have to use
Other image is my inspiration I made in ChatGPT
Thank you so much for all help!!!
What moprhs are these? How are you doing the simulation? If you can, an aniamtion showing what happens as the simulation runs may help.
Richard, I think I am going to forget about this very difficult pose. This dress is just not made for this.
I cannot even use just the top of the dress because the textures are for the entire dress. I cannot use the opacity to turn off just the skirt.
Thank you for checking back. I am certain I interrupted your dinner if you are in the states :(
Just a thought, it might be exploding not because of the pose, but because the dress has so many layers that are colliding with each other. Have you tried turning "self collision" off on the dress and then trying the drape again?
Sleeve explodes at Keyframe #5 each time...probably 5 times :(
What does it look like in the frame before?
I used a simple pose and the dress still exploded :(
I used a more simple pose and these are frames 15 and 16
I am going to have to have a very simple pose for this dress.
I must create a dforce weight node for the cuffs on the sleeves. I don't know if that will help or not.
I say I am going to give up and then I keep going.
self collide off
bend stiffness .1
I have shown the latest:
outfit not fitted to, only parented
self collide off
bend stiffness .1

I hope you guys can look at all of the explosions
Has the clothing actually full Simulation weight, i.e. if you add a dForce Weightnode and select that in scene tab, swithch to Weight Brush Tool, and in Tool Settings click 'add map' (or something similar). Does everything then turn red (100% weight)?
Based on your image it looks like it might not be, and that could be a cause for explossions.
I am going to try this!!
How happy I would be if I could get this to work!!
