Can I keep both Daz 4.24 and Daz 4.22 on same PC?

I've been using Daz 4.22 for years now and lot of my work is in it.

However, it keeps erasing my bookmarks and my user interface settings which significantly decreases the utilities of addons etc. that I've bought.

So, I recently purchased a premiere subscription and was wondering if I should now use 4.24 version to use the premiere features. But am afraid that doing so might mess up with all the old settings of 4.22

Kindly share your thoughts, advice and experience. Thanks.

There have been a lot of changes in studio between the two versions, such as the loss of 3delight in the most recent 4.24.0.4 update, that it might be problematic, depending on what "settings" you're concerned about.

Normally i'd recommend to install the beta and testing that before committing to the release version, but i don't think the 4.24 beta is available anymore due to version 6/2026 being moved to the beta phase of release.

If you've got the 4.22 installers backed up locally, you can reinstall the older version if something breaks with the 4.24 release.

If you happen to have the betas of either version as well, you can run the beta along side the release version.

I just checked and you can still get the beta of 4.24 in DIM, so you might want to try that out before committing to the release version.

You can run the beta and the release version on the same system, so release 4.22 and beta 4.24.

    Thanks a lot.

After your post, I checked and found the beta download instructions here (https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta) which does assure that it can run alongside any 4.2x version already installed.
Have installed it and so far both the 4.22 and 4.24 beta seem to be working well parallely.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
