Rig MHX - Can't move my model's bones manually

Hello,

I was finaly able to generat a MHX Rig that works fine, only to realize I can't move my model's mesh with its bones manually anymore. I did several tests importing dummies and the moment I generate a MHX rig for their bones stop functionning. Is that normal ? I am annoyed because I created some specific bones for my model I need to operate manually. Did I do something wrong ? Is there a way to correct that problem ? Thanks a lot for your answer.

Fred

MHX doesn't delete any bone from the original model. You can find the extra bones not included in genesis in the "custom" layer under bone collections in blender, which is not visible by default. Then you can move the extra bones in pose mode as usual. If you named some of the extra bones same as genesis or renamed the genesis bones then MHX will not work fine as it relies on bone names for rigging.

Thanks for the answer. My worries were mainly about not been able to move the extra bones I created, but I solved my problem by assigning each a vertex group and using weight painting. It works as intended now.
