problem with preview view (HELP...)

To make the previews larger in Windows 11, add a value in the Windows 11 Registry Editor

"\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer"

So far, so good (it didn't work, but everything looked normal). The previews work fine in Windows...

but when I open DAZ, I get an error saying that I can't see any previews in DAZ. Also, almost all the characters appear pink, and the images aren't loading because they're generating an error in the DAZ log.txt file

I immediately deleted the file I had created in Regedit, but that didn't solve the problem. I tried reinstalling the program, but it didn't work. I cleared the cache and temp files, but that didn't work either... I’ve already restarted several times, but I’m still having the same problem... If I run it from the Windows 10 backup system I have, it opens fine and the thumbnails look correct, but on Windows 11 it’s a lost cause... Does anyone have any idea what else I can try to get DAZ working on Windows 11? Formatting isn’t an option....

Thank you in advance for your help...

I don't understand what you mean by deleting the file you created in regedit. Do you mean you deleted the added DwORD from the registry? Did you go back after rebooting and verify that it was still deleted? Maybe instead of deleting it, you should have changed its value back to whatever the thumbnail size was before you changed it by modifying the registry. I don't know what that value would have been. You might want to experiment with smaller sizes. Maybe try 100, if you had set it to something larger.

Registry editing is always a risk. Did you back up the registry before modifying it? If so, try restoring the backup registry file.
