Post Render recommendation

What program can I use to add text to a rendered DAZ image and then save it without losing the transparent background?

I have MS-Paint from Windows 10. I also have MS-Word and MS-PowerPoint. Any suggestions?

Most software has the ability to save as a PNG file (which is what preserves the transparency). MS Paint doesn't?
The one I'd recommend is Affinity Studio: it's free, but it's in many ways equal to Photoshop and Illustrator.

MS-Paint for Windows 11 does but I'm still running Windows 10. I mainly use it for DAZ and writing documents so I'm fine with Windows 10. Paint allows me to save a PNG file but it warns that transparency will be lost.

Where can I find a safe version pf Affinity Studio?

    GIMP does, and it's free.

A big +1 to Affinity. It’s a great set of tools (pixel/photo image editor, vector graphics editor, page layout) that has not yet been made bad by corporate overlords.

Well worth picking up (even before they made it free—I bought the suite, both version 1, and then version 2).

The new single combined app version isn’t available on iPad yet, but the version 2 iPad apps (Affinity Designer, Photo, and Publisher) are currently free on the App Store.
