Is there anywhere on this site showing the ideal settings for an RTX Graphics card?

I've searched and found nothing!

    What are you looking for?
    Settings for the nvidia control panel/system level visual settings, settings for the viewport/studio visual, or are you asking for render settings?

     

    Unfunately, there's not really an "ideal" for any, as we all have different preferences and our projects will vary wildly as to what works best.

    The best we can give are recommendations, depending on what you're looking for.

    Depends on what you're looking for. If you're curious about GPU-specific settings for use with Daz Studio I've found that using the GPU as shipped runs the GPU up to 99% GPU Load with the factory overclocking; GPU-Z indicates the performance is GPU voltage limited. I've never bothered to tweak the voltage trying to get that last percentage point - I just don't think it's worth it.

    I have, on earlier cards, altered the fan profile to ramp the speed up faster but I haven't needed to do that with my 3060 or 5060 TI.

    Oh - and I don't game. Just use the GPUs for Daz Studio rendering.

    I ask because as of late responses have generally got slower.

    Loading previously saved scenes. Waiting for the scene to adapt from 'Texture Shaded to 'Nvidia Iray'. Sometimes never just lately!!

    As I have mentioned this has come about after I updated to 4.24.0.4 from the previous 4.24.0.3.

    So I'm hoping if I know I have the best settings for my 3080Ti for running Daz, and it is no better, then I need to look elsewhere?

    Similarly, I don't use my machine for gaming, so I use the Studio Drivers.
