No rendering

I installed an MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12G Shadow 2X graphics card.
When I try to render, the window remains empty and the rendering process doesn't start.

50xx cards are not supported for GPU rendering in DS4, the versions of Iray supporting those cards can't be integrated into DS4 due to technical reasons.

If you want to render with a 5070 card you need to use DS2025 alpha

With Daz, you never know if you have the latest version;

They don't keep an up-to-date list of the different versions of DazDtudio.
For this reason, I hardly ever use this software anymore and I might even uninstall it.

I think DazDtudio will end up like Poser, which was functional but eventually became unusable.

There is a list of the current versions of DS4 in the wiki: https://docs.daz3d.com/public/software/dazstudio/4/start

Same for DS2025 (6.x): https://docs.daz3d.com/public/software/dazstudio/6/start

There are also announcement threads in the Daz Studio subforums where you can see the latest version and version history for DS4 General release and Beta, and DS2025 Alpha.

 

And even without checking those, DS displays a message if there's a new version available when I open it (and no, I don't log in from DS).

There is no table showing the previous versions, the current version, and versions in development.

Given that this software is dependent on graphics cards, downloading older versions should be possible.
Fortunately, the user community informs us about these important points.
