The RHS Stagecoach

Hello!  


I was thinking about getting The RHS Stagecoach as it looks very detailed.  I was trying to determine if it can have the Daz3d Horse or Millennial Horse attached to the hitch on it.  The Western Coaches show horses attached to it.  I'd rather have a stage coach that can have horses hooked up.

    The RHS Stagecoach is a very old but excellent model. If I remember correctly, horses can be harnessed to it. Of course, the materials need to be adapted today. Daz has created Iray materials for a number of their

    good old models, but unfortunately not (yet?) for this one.

    I have The RHS Stagecoach and I had to install it into my new system and found that it does have Iray materials now, along with the original D|S material. There is also the Royal Post Line for the RHS Stagecoach, which still only has 3DL, MC6, and PZ2 materials. But a conversion 3DL to Iray script could handle that easily.

    Now your question is horses in the traces (?). The skus respectively are 5783 and 6255 and I have placed DAZ Horse 3 and it is pretty small, LoREZ Horse 2 fills the traces, DAZ Horse 2 fits with some space, as does Milliennium Horse and the original LoREZ Horse. The other issue which I don't think has ever been solved, was the harness to attach the horses to the traces and with reins leading up to the driver.

    I am not a horse person, so please take these observations with a grain of salt and if one of the horse folks on DAZ can comment, I would appreciate it.

    But if you need a close-up of the stagecoach or an interior shot, it would work.

    I think I used it in this scene but it is so long ago I don't know what horses I used :)

    @Fishtales, great image. Any chance you have the harnesses and reins in you Runtime still and can tell us what they are?

    Sorry. It is Western Coach I used and the horses came with it. I have the RHS Stagecoach too hence the mistake.

    I used the RHS coach and Predatron's low rez horse2 in Carrara for this one I did. If that helps smiley
