Ambitious Posing

I've necided to go with Genesis 8.1 for now.  So I'm creating characters etc.  I don't have much for 8.1 but I have a lot of other stuff from other generations.

That said.  One thing I'm really need at this point is poses.  I've seen scripts and stuff and converted some poses a long time ago.  I know poses and pose packs are scattered everywhere.  What would you recommend fro organization so that poses are more centrally located and convert them to 8.1, hopefully via batch processing?

Ideas?

    You don't have to re-organize or batch convert poses as you still need to tweak the poses after loading the converted Pose Presets.

    Instead, you can go for the way of converting poses on the fly by using some free scripts like : https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/605941/genesis-1-2-3-8-9-to-genesis-2-3-8-9-pose-converter-updated-2025-01-03/p1

    Genesis 8.1 can use G8 poses, with the exception of expressions.

    And G8.1 can be set to use G8 expressions as well if you hide some dummy expressions.

    For G8/8.1 poses, take a look for freebies on Renderosity. There are a number of good ones for G8F by bbarbs, OneSix, richardandtracy, pjz99/excessive. I've posted a couple of hundred poses just myself. My most popular download is a pose pack of a hundred poses which gives a good starting point for many events. Just search - there are lots and there's little reason to pay. Regards, Richard

    well I was going to do a re-org because I don't know for sure what all I have, nor can I successfully find it without wasting a lot of time.  but point taken.  I could do a batch as I run into them. Thanks.

    Thanks.  Expressions seems to be the hardest.  They never look real to me, but I'll figure out something.

    Thanks.  I did realize Rendo had so many.  I looked this morning.
