Switch the wrist an accessory fits to? (B.E.T.T.Y watch)

Is there an easy way to switch the wrist an accessory fits to? I have a left-handed character I'd like to switch this B.E.T.T.Y watch to the opposite wrist with out manually adjusting it.

As a leftie myself I feel your characters pain! In some cases you can set the xscale to -100% in default pose to flip it, but that won't work in this instance because the dial would be backwards. In fact, all usual mirroring techniques wouldn't work unless you also flipped the dial texture. I think your easiest solution would be unfit the watch and parent to the forearm, then manually tweak the position to fit wrist. It will then follow poses because of where it's parented, but some minor adjustment may still be needed for the odd pose.

I thought it was a prop where you just could mirror the relvant translation and rotations, and reparent to right arm.

But as it is rigged, I would take it into a modeller and there do the relevant mirroring of values and then export back and use transfer utility.

Those watches are conformers rather than Smart Props, so one perfect way is : you can mirror them by using : https://www.daz3d.com/mirror-geometry-for-genesis-9

Or, you can simply: 1) unfit the watch, export it to OBJ with the option of Invert X axis; 2) Import OBJ as a morph with Morph Loader Pro and dial it; 3) Parent the inverted watch to the bone: Right Forearm Twist 2 to make it as a Smart Prop.

Or, after unfitting the watch, just manipulate its Transforms....

Then save it as a figure asset or a wearable preset as you wish ~

I was kinda hoping for something like 'right click and select other wrist', darn.

I have very tediously manually moved it and reparented, which was hard because of the rigging or whatever conformers have. It looks ok because it's only a still and a dark image lit. The watch looks a bit small compared to modern chunky watches.

(I wishlisted the mirror-geometry, looks useful)

These watches are not as techie as the ones you specified, but esha did create left and right versions and the materials have digital and analog faces.

I did see those, but the B.E.T.T.Y ones gave me that vintage casio digital look that was hard to beat (and meets the character discription), but if there's any other sets around please let me know!

I'd attach a test render to show the results, but the Daz forum's not playing nice this morning

Thank you. I do seem to have https://www.daz3d.com/luxury-watches-for-genesis-8-male-s that are quit nice but also look small on the wrist. I am sure my judgment is ruined by have a big Gaiman watch for running.

Final render attached of our leftie. First time using Affinity, and now I see I do not understand how it centres.
