Okay so I haven't been using GIMP much the last couple of months but with deviney's brushes in fast grab I admit I did a BIG fastgrab, well I put them in the brush folder of GIMP same as I've always done with feebie brushes, andopened GIMP,or I tried to open GIMP, it runs for about 15 minutes then throws up a fatal error window ........WTF!!ok so I go and download the latest stable version of GIMP ,urk!! same deal only it throughs up other error files from my freebie brushes I've been using with no problem for a couple of years .......ok unistall ,reinstall ,same issue .......So is there a limit to how many brushes GIMP can deal with ,if so is there a work around??
I want to play I want to create ,I don't want this headache ..........so i saved screen grabs  of the warnings and such ,I'm using Windows Vista (yes I like it ,it's all I know)12GB ,can anybody help or at least give me a shoulder to cry on in frustration ,and talk me out of beating the ever loving poop out of the computer!!

I remember older versions choking when too many brushes were trying to load at startup. It's been a while since I've used it- does gimp have a method on the brush panel to load brushes manually? IIRC it should be in that little triangle on the right side of the panel. If so, move the brushes to a folder gimp can't read, and just load brushes as you need them.
