Newsletter says up to 80%...; in the store https://www.daz3d.com/store-wide-mega-wish-sale just up to 60%....
20% is missing???
Wish-Listn and Mega-weekend coupons don't seem to work, also same coupon code "wish-listn" is used for two different offers.
The 'store wide' sale is very much not; it also looks like the only wish list items that qualify are those that are part of the 'store wide' set. In my cae, two of my thirty-eight wish list items qualify. Big whoop.
Zero for me. Oh well, not spending money at all today is the biggest saving :-)
I put a DNR in the cart with an item from my wishlist. Before the code, the wishlist item was 60-ish%, with code went to 87%.
60%*60% -> 0.4*0.4 = 0.16 -> 84%
60%*80% -> 0.4*0.2 = 0.08 -> 92%
Neither seems to match.
50% base off. Up to an extra 60% off (or an additional 30% off if you want to look at it that way). That makes the sale up to 80% off and the sales copy accurate (for once).
From what I've learned, "store wide" in Daz speech does not mean "everything in the store" (or wishlist). It means "selection of items from the whole store rather than just a few featured artists."
50% off Store-Wide
Extra 40% off* up to 20 from your Wishlist with code WISH-LISTN
Extra 50% off* unlimited with any "Wild" New Release and code MEGA-WEEKEND
Extra 60% off* unlimited from your Wishlist with any "Wild" New Release and code WISH-LISTN
Extra 80% off* WITH WHAT?
ps: what you did was probably choose a 65% off item with a wishlist and wild, so it's 1 - (1-0.65)*(1-0.6)=1 - 0.14=0.86
Specifically, storewide means most of the items in a store, nothing more, nothing left. This has been brought many times before, yet DAZ continues to misuse the word/phrase (store wide, store-wide, and storewide all have the same meaning, though storewide is the most accepted version) despite the fact that the Meriam-Webster dictionary defines storewide at https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/storewide as
storewide
adjective
store·wide ˈstȯr-ˈwīd
: including all or most merchandise in a store
a storewide sale
Kids Definition
storewide
adjective
store·wide -ˈwīd
: including all or most merchandise in a store
a storewide sale
They even have a seperate definition for kids! And it's not just Websters. Here's the definition of storewide from the Btritanica Dictionary, which defines storewide at https://www.britannica.com/dictionary/storewide as
storewide /ˈstoɚˈwaɪd/ adjective
: including all or most of the things that are being sold in a store
a storewide sale/clearance
And just to confirm that that definition is universal, here's the one from Dictionary.com at https://www.dictionary.com/browse/storewide
storewide
American
[stawr-wahyd, stohr-] / ˈstɔrˈwaɪd, ˈstoʊr- /
adjective
applying to all the merchandise or all the departments within a store.
So, literally, a "storewide wishlist sale" should mean almost every item in someone's wishlist, though for rules-lawyers I will acknowledge that exceptions for new items and items inthe Grab and Outlet sections are acceptable exemptions, given the regular rules that apply there, and even exempting PC+ items could be considered within the margins (especially since those items are already discounted below the percentages of most sales.) HOWEVER>>>.
At the moment I have 351 items in my wishlist, of which 52 are "new" releases, and yet only 93 of the remaining 299 seem to even be eligible for the offer, so for a promotion to have an exemption rate of nearly 66% doesn't exactly mesh with the literal meaning of the word.
It says nothing about an extra 80%, it says up to 80% in total - and Cris showed one way of getting more than 80%
I know what storewide means which I implied by saying that in Daz speech (so often not exactly English, and definitely rarely correct grammar English) it means something different. We'd seen it time and again, and even in the past months, each "storewide" sale I can recall was following exactly the same non-dictionary rule, so clearly Daz is not following the dictionary definition of the word in their marketing. Whether either of us likes it or not (as I was not defending Daz or their definition, just pointing out they had a different one) or how it "should" be in the perfect world is somewhat irrelevant from my perspective.
The “Introducing Genesis 9” page really needs some work.
Michael 9’s introduction includes the “Michael 9 HD Fantasy Mega Bundle,” which is marked as Inactive and leads to an “Oops!” page. It would be a good idea to update that.
Meanwhile, Victoria 9’s introduction includes the text “Get the Victoria 9 HD Intro Bundle today!” That’s the literal name of a product listed right below, which is also marked as Inactive and leads to an “Oops!” page. It would be a really good idea to replace both the item and the text with something that people can actually buy.
Finally, the “Shop all Genesis 9” banner prominently links to ten “Inactive” items. They should really be replaced with currently available items, because that level of neglect on one of the site’s most prominent pages is going to turn off potential customers. If it had looked like that a year ago when I was getting ready to join, I might not have. I definitely don’t regret joining, but I would have been hesitant to commit to something that looked like it might be unmaintained and possibly on the verge of breaking down.
No sale should ever require that sort of calculation, ever. I can't get anything in my wishlist to drop below 60% and there's no indiction on the sales page as to why. I'm very grateful for the sales here, but I'm also not in enough of a rush to buy anything unless it appears in my cart with the price that a sale advertises without any issues.
According to the sales page, you have to meet the following conditions:
The same offer applies to items in featured artists: https://www.daz3d.com/mega-wish-artists
From what I've seen, everything's working as intended, and all those items seem to have at least 50% base off already, so the two questions would be: are you picking the items from those two selections, and are you using the code?
If the answer to both is yes, all I can recommend is to share the screenshot of your cart, so others can investigate.
EDIT:
NM, just used the wishlist link from the sales page and only two apply.
Quick Grab didn't refresh correctly this week.
Will report.
The wishlist coupon BONUS-WISH is not working for me. No matter what item from my wishlist I choose, it says "coupon not valid"
It has to be in the store wide list as well.

Just found that out too.
Just so I can check. Are any of your wishlisted items new? Can you show me a cart? I did a cart without a debut and with and each got the expected discounts.
ok, my fault again. I didn't recognized, that the items has to be only from the listet section. Thank you!
Past the 12-hour mark for QG and it's still empty
Sorry, I was late to remind them, but it's now fixed
Awesome, thank you!
Not really your fault as the promotion uses the word "store-wide" yet a lot of us are finding that the majority of our wishlist items aren't included.
The additional "Extra 20% off* 2, Extra 30% off* 3 or more" on today's Unmentionables sale does not seem to be functioning.
Whether I have 2, 3 or 4 of NewGuy's Cotton collection in the cart, I am only seeing the standard 30% introductory discount, with no additional mutli-buy discount..

Should be working now.
