They are indeed sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry if in our responses, I, or the other mods, did not say that. We're often dealing with a lot of things so things may get overlooked. There is still no ETA on the coupons. We will, however, take any reports on the sale of the day and pass those on to Daz.

Thanks so much Cris, you are so very appriciated

surprise  Can somebody tell us why the DAZ+ and Premier coupons not working has not been fixed?  It seems to be taking a ridiculous amount of time, even by DAZ standards.  DAZ Soon™ and all that...

As a software developer, I don't understand how they are broken. A coupon system is a very basic feature of e-Commerce platforms.

True, and Renderosity's store proves that it can be done nearly flawlessly... That said, we're talking apples and oranges, and whoever sets up the DAZ store has to deal with all sorts of variable contingencies and factors that may change on a daily basis, depending on what crazy promotions the marketing team has come up with, so besides daily coupons that only work for 24 hours, a coupon may or may not be supposed to work depending on whether the customer is DAZ+, Premire, or base, whether they already own certain products, if the item is in a wishlist, comes from specific vendors, etc., etc.  The more bells and whistles you add, the more chance there is for something to cum up the gears, and clearly something wasn't working properly with more than just the coupon system starting yesterday when not only the prime coupons but also the tokens and some of the daily coupons weren't functioning.

Just like a premium European car - more moving parts means more stuff to fix.

And who made all these moving parts that Daz can't handle? Why Daz themselves, of course.

Premier coupons still not working. No wonder they're not BBB accredited despite making over $8 million a year. As I said before, they're not a rinky dink operation. I get proper service from ones that are. I know I at least have spent hundreds if not thousands here over the years because I do everything legit and I literally get better service from individual model sellers on Booth. There's a reason why I barely spend money here anymore and I am proven to be very correct. As brainmuffin mentioned, as a software developer they don't understand how monthly coupons are broken-- pointing out that even in the "moving parts" apologism this isn't applicable. This is a standard, monthly procedure that should be as naturally integrated as checking out or wishlists.

Cris, thank you so much for your support, I think we all appreciate that you're really stuck between a rock (us) and a hard place (DAZ) here. I do believe now would have to be the time for some official message from DAZ's side, though. Can you pass that on to them, or should I rather open a ticket?

Do the monthly coupons work? Tomorrow will be the last day to use them. All Daz Originals items are unsuitable, all the items that have a price close to the coupon. Any advice?

At the moment, the monthly coupons are unavailable. I don't have an ETA but they are working on getting them back to you for use.

Discount system isn't working Friday at 10AM (East Coast).

I am a Premiere member, ordered the "Clothing Hangers for Genesis 9 and Genesis 8 dForce Clothing", which is part of the "New year new releases" and should entail "40% off store-wide featured artists" (which sounds like a contradiction in terms, btw. Can you feature everyone?). When you go to the Store-Wide selection, you find Toyen's "dForce Bombshell Hair for Genesis 9 " listed for $28.99. Auch. But, I get 30% off as a Premie, and should then get another 40% off the remaining 70% of the cost, for a total discount of 30% plus 28%. Plus ten percent off, perhaps, since it was in my wishlist. Instead of 58% reduction, I am seeing 37% reduction, however, which is just the Premie discount and the Wishlish discount, I suppose..

Geez, if they were going to mess it up, would have nice if the error went in the way of the little guy    (O:

I tried something similar with a different product than the hair.

Both your item and the one I was trying to buy are classified as "New".

If you check the Toyen products that appear under Store Wide Featured Artists only non-new products appear. (And other artists for that matter.)

I think that is the issue.

    Thanks, you are probably right

BBB accreditation is something a business has to pay an annual fee for, as opposed to a BBB rating, which is compiled from consumer reports and something a business gets whether they want to or not.  The thing is, the BBB was a bit of a joke in Utah until very recently, as the state laws were written heavily in favor of businesses over the consumer.... though new legisation was passed last year which balances the playing field quite a bit, most notably by making it possible to sue a business for deceptive practices even if they cannot be proved to have been done intentionaly.

Done, and you're very much welcome. This new year is a mess overall, somehow. But on the bright side, it can only get better!

although i snickered when I read  @cybersox's observation...  and, as a generally cynical DAZ store participant these days, the decision by DAZ to prioritize *not giving away* our wonderful PA's brilliant newly released products is arguably the *right* choice in this situation ...

I'll add that I can't imagine anyone in the back rooms of the DAZ store are having a good time right now.

Thanks to everyone at DAZ for working to get things back ontrack ASAP, and perhaps we'll get a good 'recovery' sale out this to make up for the bummer that both customers and vendors alike are feeling right now.

This banner is so amiguous and misleading. Luckily I hold no grudges but DAZ should have a QA for ads/marketing. This infers there is 40% off of all things mentioned in banner meaning wishlist was 40% too with a new years new according to my screenshot. The ad delivered as promised according to my screenshots but a few hours later DAZ retracted the promise and the cart price jumped but they did not change this banner. This is what urks me.  Acting like no you read it wrong it is only 10% off  but I not only write I also can read,

I put a "beastly" artist store item in my cart and it wasn't 60% off.

I think it worked correctly, actually. You needed the code to get either the 60% or 80% off. If you took the new item out of your cart, but kept the code, the artist's item would be 60% off. But either discount only appears once you apply the coupon code.

heh, you can read and you can do math :^) - bad mix for DAZ marketing folks, eh?

Ya, many-a-time I've shook my head (and emptied my cart) when such sales don't add up to the promotion promises. My 'favorite' repeating pattern is 'Free, but only if you buy xxx...'

This current situation sounds like a technical difficulty, so I'm sypathetic to the front facing staff, the web-geeks who are apparently having a hard time getting their code under control..., the support ticket folks who get the complaints and may have to unwind this mess..., *and* the many customers who spend their valuable time to shop and architect a great cart within the variety of contrived constraints that the DAZ store throws around (punches, tokens, clubs, ...), only to find their efforts wasted when the cart fails to do the right math (invalid coupon...) and the clock strikes twelve, and we all helplessly watch the cart prices change back - and never in our favor... Did I mention I'm a cynical DAZ store participant?... one can only wonder why...

Best to you @ArtAngel - and a healthy prosperous new year to everyone.

I put 3 items in the cart and applied BEAST-MODE to get 60%. Added a new item and they went to 80%. It appears to be working as expected in my cart.

The character coupon isn't the only one that doesn't work for Premier customers. The other two coupons also don't work. I hope this can be fixed soon. Thanks for your efforts so far.
