For the past few core characters we had to wait a bit before they were added to the selection
This is a limitation of the system, we were told last night in regard to yesterday's code - if you want to use it on older items they will need to be in a cart that doesn't have qualifying new items.
I hope it is added today; otherwise I have nothing to use my monthly coupon on because I already own all the character bundles that are currently available. Prehaps a kind mod would please send an inquiry ?
This is how it always works. You always have to dump the cart (I click each item and put it in a new tab when I do this). Put the one item in the cart. Apply the coupon. And then put everything else back in the cart.
The code would also be good tomorrow. But we can mention it once theya re in the office, along with the typo on today's promo page
Does that work? It didn't seem to when I tried with yesterday's code (it would work with soemthing that took the first # items in a cart, been there, done that).

That is entirely impractical.
I was trying to pick up the nice hair that shows up in Kayla's marketing material, and while it's not currently on discount, I figured that as I was already using 8 tokens for the best price on the DOs, the 50% coupon would make it a reasonable enough price.
I cannot reasonably dump a second set of 8 tokens to be able to put it through in a second cart.
If the system can't handle it intelligently, they need to give us two different coupons to choose which of the deals we get, because the mechanics of tokens actively discourage splitting carts like that.
Also, in some circumstances, when the new item is triggering part of the discount (admittedly here it is not), you couldn't do it *at all*, despite being within the intent of the coupon, even blowing through twice as many tokens.
I believe so. I did it yesterday so I'm think I'm remembering it correctly. :shrug: But the orange coupons almost always process from the start of the cart down, in my experience. So once they hit something they apply to, they stop. Rearranging the cart is the only way I know of to get them to apply to the more expensive item(s).

Confirm, tried it on several items (new, debut new, non-new). Once with an item in a full cart, and the others on their own. No luck.
Ok, so it's working now on our end. It's an extra 50% off one non-new item OR 20% more on one new item (last 60 days).
I did empty the cart and deliberately put that one item at the top of the cart; it's not like I would have reordered the screenshot to put it at the top there without it actually being top in the cart!

I agree. I didn't use the voucher on the first day because of the way it worked. It actively stopped me buying a new release. I did use it yesterday on the new DO release, but my cart only had that in. On each day, it has discouraged me from interacting with the full sale, which I don't think was the intent. Two separate vouchers is how this should have been done. And there has been a sale like this previously - you could use a voucher for a discount off new releases or a voucher for a discount off other parts of the store. Using one voucher invalidated the other. So the store can handle sales like this.
Today is a little different for anyone who has felt in the same boat. Because there are non-new releases in the doorbuster section, we can use the voucher today on the featured artists section if our cart doorbuster is one of those. It was probably like that yesterday too, tbf, but with a focus on the DO release, it may have been missed. I know I missed it.
It's not strictly a sales issue, and maybe it concerns only me, but is there maybe a chance DAZ could be asked to exchange that absolutely horrifying and gross Halloween sale promo banner? With the two characters with the awful skin conditions? It really did something terrible to me when I opened the store just now while sitting at my breakfast table. I had to stop eating and go and look at something else for a while, and now I'm kinda scared to be on the front page as it might rotate in again. Could we maybe go with something a little less triggering and in-your-face? I would so appreciate it if it'd be even possible to just ask them. Thanks!
When putting anything in the cart from the "Todays Specials - Halloween Flashbacks" these products don't seem to get their prices reduced to those $ 1.99 to $ 5.99 as advertised. Any small print missing there?
You need to have a doorbuster in cart to get those sales prices listed. They will work on getting the text fixed.
They also don't appear to interact with tokens, so I assume there's a no stacking disclaimer missing too.
And under "Today's Specials" it says "Twice As Many Free Items"...
This doesn't seem to be working - only the first item is free when you put two items from the selection into your cart with the Doorbuster.
As a guess, what they meant was that the selection of potential freebies was twice as big, not that you could get 2 freebies.
The daily email clearly states "Get Two Free Items"
I'm only getting one free gift discounted to $0 in my cart with the Doorbuster. The other, Wicked Battle Masks, isn't getting reduced.

Same. It was working a moment ago, and I refreshed my cart, and suddenly one of the two items is no longer free. Nothing else in my cart changed
