  • Does anyone know when the annual summer sale usually starts, or can we expect significant discounts around Easter?

First we have the 'March Madness' starting about March1. The DAZ+ summer sale doesn't usually start until June.

How many days in the last week or so has the sale been wishlist related? Slim pickens at the moment.

Yeah, it's pretty much Feast or Famine these days, and these "it's a wishlist sale, but not all of not all YOUR wishlist" promotions are beyond annoying.   There are a lot of days now where I look at the new items and find myself not just unable to justify paying the current prices for what's being shilled, but where I don't even see anything worth wishlisting, let alone buying to activate some discount.  On the other hand, at least they don't flush out the daily sales for several days when they're not running a themed sale like March Madness, so if you wait a few days you may eventually find a few things worth picking up.

Yep, but new releases are included with this one. So with a "Wishey" new release you can get an extra 50% off up to 10 of them. This results in a really good discount for new releases that came out in the last 2 weeks.

I have no wish for Wishy DNRs, but I still get a slightly larger discount on Space Elsa's new boat, so that's probably what I will go with.

@SilverGirl. I think your strategy is close to mine, except yours doesn't have a couple sub steps:

2b. If Monday, notice QG is messed up again.

2c. Roll eyes while thinking &/or posting, "Daz should've fixed that annoying glitch already!"

LOL - I actually contemplated adding those, but since they were only once a week, left them off

My approach is to ignore all promo comments, look at the offered new items, see if I like any, hit wishlist right away if I do. Then I read the promo comments, attempt to build a cart, check the forums, go back to the sales if needed. Let some time go by so I can chill on a cart that is expensive for me, but does have a number of exceptional items.

I actually found a new item I liked right away today, https://www.daz3d.com/ts-bread-desserts-fruits-and-vegetables. I hope I am not disappointed. That opened up the wishlist sales promotions for me. A few items I would like to buy from my wishlist are still pretty expensive, so I am hoping March Madness will bring them down further.

So far I have torn my cart down twice. Still considering. But I know the quality of the work by these PAs and it is more of the depletion of my store credit I am balancing versus how much I will use them.

none of my WL items have a discount, but 1, and its 40%, so that 20% does absolutely nothing for me.  52%. I'm now at 80% or higher, unless its a really needed bad item, which is rare for me anymore. I haven't had a must have moment and excitement since Ultrascenery came out. That was in March 2020.

  • This "Wishy" sale is just what I needed, too late to be that helpful. At the moment, all but 4 items on my wishlist are still "New" but as of today, only five are new enough to still be 30% off. This wishlist sale appears to apply to new items and has no limit; New items that are still 30% are 75% in the cart with the discount, 8 tokens and whatever new-today thing I opt to use. But the rest are only 65% and that's not good enough to be enticing.

I'm just going to be grateful they didn't touch it with a 10-foot pole this year.

Well, technically, DAZ is now a part of Tafi* and half of Tafi is located in Vancouver.  Not so much love for U.S. Presidents there these days.

*Yes, it makes my head hurt too.  There's no doubt that DAZ came first and Tafi was spun off from it later, and besides sucking up a bunch of venture capital, Tafi hasn't seemed to have done much while DAZ seems to be the primary money earner.  Mind you, that's "seems", as what the heck do I know, and I suspect that the overall logistics are as complex as those of Burger King's purchase of Tim Horton's, which somehow resulted in the U.S. based Burger King becoming part of Restaurant Brands International with offices in Toronto.

  • Friday should be Freebie changeover! We all like that.

Another day lacking bonus discounts. I'm beginning to think they do this on the double token days on purpose. A 40/50/60% of "flash sale" is not exciting.

Could anyone tell me who the blonde character is at the top of the Wished for more Wishes promo? She looks like an Addy character. Edit- just answered my own question. I think she is

I spoke too soon. On a whim, I added the most recent 200 or so items to my wishlist yesterday. Today, the WISHY-TUESDAY coupon works with NEW items. Now I need to figure out what I need soon and what I can wait until the next sale for.

Well I think DAZ missed two chances for better promos today:

    Mardi Gras

Lunar New Year - Year of the Fire Horse

Yeah... there was that awesome Lunar New Year sale in 2024, and I keep hoping for a repeat... alas, no love this year either.

Looks like that's the inside of a parasol to me, other images have the lettering correct on the outside.

Neither, that is one of the umbrellas over the tables and you are seeing the labelled side from behind - theya re the right way round in another image when you are looking from the front.

I believe this has been adjusted. Edit: Yes.

Thank you. I probably would have bought it anyway but I will for certain now.

  • Dear Daz, Valentine's Day was 4 days ago. Also, I bought a lovely breakfast set just last week for $2.

I wonder if one of the Wishy coupons still works?

I feel that your interpretation is equally appropriate.
