Well they broke my record. The NICE item by Luthbel is a horror item I do not want, need, nor care for. What a pity. Luthbel is a fantastic creator but that one I had passed up. I am so not into zombies. Happy rendering to anyone who missed it the first time and wants it now.

Yeah, I'm leaving that one out of my runtime, too. No desire to be looking at that. But hey, great quality for those who are into it.

I'm thinking: Zombies - not my thing, but I could probably use the dirty clothes for free... Not had much in Nice I didn't already have or need.

First week of the Advent calendar both the free and paid were from my wishlist and I had to choose what I wanted more. This week only the paid was, and had all been passed over at £1.99 before and the Free were something I had no use for. Today neither is in my wishlist and the Paid had been £1.99 - there are still plenty qualifying DO untouched in my wishlist. So I seem to have a reverse Advent Calendar where the gift offer is going downhill as the month is goes on. :-(

And the Debut/Still New are largely female stuff ;-( And K-pop not my thing either.

Censored's new Ceramic Animal Decor is certainly cute, but lacks the one that got away during the Member Festival Member Festival Ceramic Animal. Will we ever see that one again?

  • I got the Zoo pool enclosure free but not the pool, I didn't have 3 punches then, now at $5.99 am not really keen

    (not something I would use}

I looked at what was in the enclosure now and really not much I can use there either by itself

it was free so who cares

    but

funny because I own heaps by Predatron, it shouldn't matter but I know this is going to bug me forever until I get that zoo pool even though I still have utterly no use for it

    I have a problem surprise

winding down. 3 free items and maybe the $1.49 item.  Used all my monthly Premier coupons the last 2 days so my spend is about done this month, unless a deal pops up that cannot be ignored.

Yes, I had passed on the product before but as you say for free it is potentially useful for the clothes, and the zombie might have uses other than as a literal zombie.

So the zombie plays well with the barbed wire and the watch towers. I can dig it, and I got it all for free. smiley

  • Re: Zombie

I passed on it this morning because I don't do horror, & only light Halloween.* Plus there's one in the Monster Mashup Starter bundle I own.

Then I read the posts here. Dirty clothes could be handy. And here's another idea. I sometimes do surgery pictures for my fave genres (SF, supers, cyberpunk). The zombie will make a good patient. Fully draped, & only my virtual doctors are at risk of being grossed out.

*Seriously, if I ever did a zombie, it would be inspired by Patricia Briggs' urban fantasy novels: Perfectly preserved & very hard to tell from a living person unless the maker screws up.

  • Zombies do for decayed corpses too

I also don't have use for a zombie, but considering got it as bonus (puches are not free) and looks like good quality, can't complain. Some day a part of it may be useful.

On the othe hand, Unless they fix the Daz+ items not geting the featured artis discount, this sale will be a huge bust for me. Built punches for this weekend and i'm not going to do so for another one, my money is not infinite.

I have no problem with free gifts when I look back at the pile of things I bought with all sorts of fantasies that I've never actually usedsmiley.

Can anyone who has the zombie answer - are the character + clothes separate download/install files? Because I wouldn't be sad about having the clothes, and I could just not install the character.

No. It is a single 266 mb file.

Both the product library and DIM shows everything in a single Zip

    Aw nuts.

Appreciate the time to look & respond. :)

Glad it's the offering, though, even if it's not my groove. There's been a good diversity so far, so people of multiple genre preferences have a shot at something they'd find cool.

Well, it is free and even though it is a single download/install you should be able to use the clothes seperately.

This is the reason I downloaded the zombie set.

    I understand that.

I'd rather go without the clothes than have the zombie image staring at me when I'm browsing character possibilities.

I get some folk have no issue with it. I adored horror movies at one point in my life. Now it just puts me in mind of a lot of badness that has happened since then, and I don't want it in my runtime. Art is where I come to relax and escape, and that would be counter-productive.

Could you install the clothing and delete the figure? It would be a shame to pass on a clothing item you could use.

I thought it was a package deal when it was in one file like that?

...I dunno, could be wrong. I am by far not good at the technical side of things.

Maybe I will grab it and just not install until I figure something out.

I intented to skip it too, not much for all that "food for nightmares" stuff either.  Didn't consider the clothes though, they look useful, so now I'll grab it anyway and see if they can be separated from the rest.

After manually downloading and extracting the file, I believe you can follow the custom installation method and copy only the outfits or characters you need to your folder.

    I don't think I ever got a punch.

I get totally lost with all these conditions and offers.

All you need to get a punch is to make a purchase over $1.00.

Zombie loads naked, zombie user-facing files load to an unexpected directory - Genesis 9/Character/Luthbel Studio/Long Time Dead, not Genesis/9 Characters/Luthbel Studio/Long Time Dead. Clothing user-facing files load to Genesis 9/Clothing/Luthebel Studio/Long Time Dead. That's with DIM. Figure looks great! Skin and build suggest an athletic caucasian male, skin color can be adjusted manipulating base color, translucency color, and translucency weight sliders. I like it. Clothing loads easily and accurately. For free, can't go wrong.

The rules of the game change daily, but the most basic requirement is to be a Premier and spend over $1 for three consecutive days to receive an extra 40% off on the fourth day.

Currently, purchasing three Debut or Still New Release items will grant you an extra 30% off. If any of the three items include a Debut item, the 50% off Featured Artist Stores item will become 60% off or 75% off (Legacy).

You will get 83.2% off 89.5 % off (Legacy) ( The decimal point should be rounded up or down).

  • I am a base member and get 40% off with 3 punches

just the DAZ originals are obviously dearer as no member discounts

PA stuff I am the same as everyone and get all the freebies, up to 3 a day

(owned some nice, chose some paid advent calendar options)
