Manually Added?

So, I have been having issues with my content (about a third of it went missing, as in completetly gone even though DIM still thinks its there and won't let me install it again, my only option being to use connect or uninstall and re install via dim which is even more work). anyway that's not what this post is about. I am going through and re adding all the content that is missing and I am coming across several items that say manually added. Most of my stuff has the order number etc on it. I have zero recollection of actually purchasing these items (and am not willing to go through admittedly far too many invoices to be totally sure). Just a bit of curiosity on my part as I don't ever recall seeing that.

In DIM go to the installed tab and find the files that you are looking for click the box beside them and you should get the options to start the queue for them again.
Manually added content is probably something that has been added to the DAZ Studio package; I've had several things added recently to mine that are part of the latest version.
Is it gone in the Content Library pane?
completely gone. I don't get an option in dim to install again my only option is uninstall (right click, left click nothing gives me the option to install them again) Updating the meta data worked on about a 1/4 of it. And I know I did install them because I have the custom category folders with the name of the item that is missing. Sometimes, when I re load from connect it will re populate my custom category right where it should be, other times its like its never seen it before. All the folder are in the right place in the Daz folder on my pc so its clear that they are there. I finished installing the last of it last night so for the moment it looks to be all installed again but it was a lot of work. And if I didn't have my custom categories I may not have noticed for quite some time. If it happens again I will open a bug report though.
Thank you that make perfect sense.
Yes, sadly I tried that and that option was not available. Plus, it wasn't just five or ten items it was closer to about 250. It was faster (somewhat) to just load them with connect. But I didn't like it lol. I don't want to use connect, I prefer DIM especially since I never even go to the smart content tab much less use it for anything. I don't like where it puts the content. I have a hard enough time finding my new content since they took the blue highlights away. I have been loading my new stuff on my laptop that still has 4.8 first then categorizing everthing to the correct custom category folder on both the pc and the laptop at the same time so I can actually FIND the darn stuff on the pc. I have far too much content to remember whats new and whats not..
