Rotating Wheels

I am trying to put together with DAZ Primitives a plaform on wheels. I have downloaded some free .obj wheels but I cannot get them to rotate on a centre pivot as if driving down the road.I need all four wheels rotating at the same time! Any suggestions would be helpful.Cheers

Create a Modifier as a Controller to control Z Rotates of the wheels.

I hate to mention something when it requires you to buy something, but Lindsay has a car animation pack that I use all the time for anything animated with wheels. He gives you a template car with four wheels. You can adjust it to just about anything. Parent your item(just about anything you can think of) to the template, hide the template, and you're off. He/She has a few Youtube video's describing how to do everything. Your primitive is just a funny looking car, lol.

  • Many thanks for your reply! I looked up Lindsay Car Animation Pack at DAZ Market Place but I could not find anything related to Car Animation Pack! Cheers

  • Many thanks.I have purchased the Four Wheel Animation Template. Cheers

Thank you for clearing that up. I can't tell you how many times I have gone searching for one of Linday's hairs or outfits and then I come up with nothing, of course I spelled it wrong. Linday not Lindsay. That is my daughters name so I think I do it out of habit.

The YouTube videos are lifesavers. Linday did a great job on them, very easy to follow, not too slow and not too fast. I think the third one explains how you can use a custom wheel instead of the provided wheels, like if you wanted a wagon wheel or something futuristic. The sky is the limit, really. I am sure you will find many uses for this product.
