A couple thoughts.
I think you need to become a Daz Power User.
1) Master searching the store. James Bond and such are popular franchises in Dazland. There are TONS of products related to covert operations, spies, gadgets etc.
Look under terms like "Underground" "Secret" Base" "Villain" "Lair" "Headquarters" etc... https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result?q=lair for example.
2) Master kit-bashing, which is using parts of stuff with other stuff to make new stuff. Any motorcycle can have guns come out the front. Any helicopter can have missiles on the sides.
(I'd make a video, but the last guy didn't even come back and say thank you, after I made it.)
3) Greebles, textures, parenting and pivot points. Learn the Surfaces Tab to add little parts to be convincing. https://www.daz3d.com/nurnies-greebles-parts-and-pieces
Place one of these on the front of the motorcycle (Use the same texture map from the motorcycle for the greeble part) Place a regular machine gun barrel in the front of the cycle and you got it.
Learn Parenting and how to attach items and when to add a part just to help make things move the way you want.
4) Thing of Daz Studio as a library of Parts and not Products. You don't need a product if you already have all the parts.
You can search your library for items using the Files tab on the upper right. Put in "Door" "Gun" "Wall" etc and assemble your own parts asset.
------------------
I went this way because I make comics and I need a lot of things that don't exist. And even if I find something, it doesn't always match the look I'm going for.
Aside from that, Daz has a tendency to release a product after I already completed the story that needed it. lol
I did do a whole deep dive into kit bashing course that I'm sure is super discounted by now.
https://www.daz3d.com/digital-kit-bashing--easily-create-innovative-props-and-scenes
You don't need to buy the course, just the trailer really shows you how it works.
Oh, and don't forget the forum has a lot of skilled used in here.
It's a major, major resource.
You can create a thread and ask users to post Spy-based stuff and see what you can use to build your library or....
Post the exact thing you need as a problem and members will come up with solutions.
Sounds...fantastic.....
But about the sharks with frickking lazer beams......
:)
Well, there's a Great White and Megladon and there are lots of light sabre things (and freebies at renderosity) that could be attached to the shark with a strap thingy, or embed the handle in the shark's head, and parented together you have a laser beam wielding shark.
Can't think why you'd want to, but.. it's possible.
Regards,
Richard
Well, we did that too. At 26-second mark.
I think that's this guy JAWS https://www.daz3d.com/jawz-for-genesis-81-male
Wearing a Sci-fi helmet + Tactical goggles.
And I'm 90% sure the laser glare is a Ron Deviney product like this one.
