Does filament work on Intel Macs
Hi All,
I'm running on an iMac Pro Intel machine. Does the 'Filament' feature work with the intel Macs? I don't have it as an option in my viewport and can't find where I might turn it on in the menus.
Thx.

Which version of DS are you using? DS 4.x doesn't have filament on Mac, only the DS2025 alpha does.
Using the Lateast Mac OS and Daz Studio 4.24. So it's only a Windows feature? Saw it referenced in a couple of older YT videos, and assumed it was a public release for everyone. Thought maybe I just missed in in my workspace setup.
It's windows only in 4.24, yes.
There are technical constraints preventing it to work in DS4 Mac versions (I assume it's linked to the version of Qt framework DS4 uses as it works in DS2025 alpha which uses a much newer version of Qt).
Thanks for the update. Hopefully it will work on the Intel Macs as well as the M4 models.
From what I've read the DS2025 alpha (with Filament) works with both Intel and M4 models.
You can ask in the Mac FAQ thread for more details from those who tried it: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/731016/the-new-mac-faq#latest
Awesome. Thx, Leana.
To clarify, Filament works on my intel MacBook Air, but you have to use the 2025 Alpha version of DAZ Studio., 4.x versions will never, ever work on any Mac.
