Daz Studio & End of Mac Roseetta 2 Support

Hello.

Apple announed on WWDC 2025 that Apple will discontinue Rosetta 2 in 2027 with macOS 28 and onwards. As Daz Studio relies heavily on it, what is the future for this software on the Mac. What plans does the Daz 3D team have regarding Studio? Is Daz Studio 2025 on Mac also dependant on Rosetta 2?

Supported Operating Systems / Architectures

• macOS: Monterey (12), Ventura (13), Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15)
  • 64-bit Intel (x86_64)
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) is currently supported through Rosetta emulation
    • Native support is pending
