@elor forgot to mention, yes, lovely render!

@SilverGirl Sometimes it's good to press mystery buttons to see what they do! Other times, I look up tutorials on the mystery buttons and find out what they do that way.

It shows as $4.99 for me.

You probably have Daz+ or Premiere. And felis probably doesn't.

That explains it! While $9.99 is the upper maximum for OS and QG, it does seem like a lot of money for that item.

I agree, that's a lot of money for that item. Earlier in the life of the os/qg program, there was more logic to the pricing. Some deals were better than others, but the pricing now seems entirely random. Also, there used to be bundles in the  mix and those are long gone.

what i like changes from one week to the next. This is the 2nd week nothing is on my plate, but the couple of weeks prior I bought a ton of stuff. Its actually a good time to not see anything as my membership is now expired. no reason to renew

heh,at this point in my journey, they're mostly all mystery buttons, still.

Getting better, though! It'd help if I had more time to devote to it, but... work with what I've got. :)

Hello! Me again with your weekly reminder that QG rollover is due at Daz midnight minus 6(ish) today! Plan accordingly!

    New QG is up!

I'm worried to see Gescon 2 in QG. Does this mean it won't freely be updated for DS6?

What's the difference between the two? The descriptions in the store are exactly the same...

It's an upgrade for people who own the first version of Gescon, to allow them to get Gescon II for a lower price (of course, when Gescon II is a quick grab, the lower price argument is not true anymore, but only for a week).

Edit: the required product on Gescon II (the non upgrade version) is likely a mistake.

Oh, and this "Required Products" section is what confused me the most. I completely forgot to ask about it. I hope it really is a labeling error. Thanks.

    Happy Sunday, my fine artists!

Rollover day for QG -- make sure you check out with anything you have your eye on before Daz midnight minus six(ish)!

Also a reminder that August 1st is on Saturday, so if you've been putting off any OS purchases, you'll want to nab those items this week as well.

A timely reminder. Thanks. As it happened, I had one wishlisted item, which I bought 7 hours ago, but I did double check. Just hope I can find a use for Gescon2 - it's pretty expensive for a punt in the hope it will do what I want. Regards, Richard.

It seems that QG refresh is really late today. Unless they changed back to Daz midnight again.

Christmas in July seems to have thrown off Daz's "schedules" for several things. Quick Grab, Biweekly Freebies, & Core Figure release.

i just now bought my QG for this week...just in time I presume. Grabbed those am rabbits. Hoping the base will show up here on QG, if not the bundle will become much cheaper with 2 parts already purchased for pretty low cost.

  • SilverGirlSilverGirl Posts: 3,810

Me: Hey remember to grab your stuff because QG changes early!

QG: Does not, in fact, change early this week. Or even on time.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 8,176

or yet. I was all excited ready for some new QG items...still the old stuff. i even renewed DAZ+ to get the half price, now this happens. suppose in reality it doesn't matter.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 8,176

so whats the deal? No more Quick Grab?

  • 3DSaga3DSaga Posts: 867

They don't always make the change "on time". There's no hard and fast rule for when they actually make the change, though they may seem to follow a pattern for a while. I've seen them go late into Monday before the change is effective.  It's going to be up for a week so there probably isn't a lot of pressure to get it changed by a specific time.

Since the beginning of May, they have been realy on time, UTC midnight, with correct prices displaying at Daz midnight (correct prices in the cart since UTC midnight = US Sunday evening), and this is the first time in almost three months when the change didn't happen either at UTC midnight, or on Daz midnight, or even on Daz midday, so I'm not surprised people are concerned, especially that the mods did not get back to us either.

True, they've been consistent enough that we expect the pattern is established, but from what I've seen with DAZ, they break patterns without any announcement.

Hopefully they post this week's selection soon.

They have also been pretty consistent with the freebies. So I think this is from the same source.

After many years of trying to figure this store out, I've finally accepted that the one thing that's consistant about DAZ is its inconsitency. ;)
