How do I render a character without the background being black? every time I render a character its black all around him. I just want the character to render and thats it..

    The "Environment" pane (Window -->Panes(Tabs) --> Environment) should have the Type set to none.  There may be other settings that affect this, but that's the obvious one I can think of.

    If you mean you want a clear background, just render as a .png.  DAZ automatically renders those as just the subject and an alpha.

    If you render without a backdrop and save to a format that doesn't support alpha channels that will be the result. If you want an isolated render on transparency save the image to PNG (or Tiff).
