Editorial Licence

Hey everyone;

First sorry for my english ; it s not my native language and i hope i will make my post understandable and without many mistake.

I m new to Daz and recently i ve purchased without thinking an asset looklike Sean Connery. I m currently in phase of writing and i render to test how DAZ work and to have an general idea of my character and i wanted to make a tribute to my heart father who is deceased recently and who looked a bit like an old sean connery. Anyway i modified it a bit and when i discuss it on a Discord someone asked me if i had a licence for use a celebrity lookalike. And i feel very very stupid ; i tought if it s for sell here i can use it but when i check again my order i saw the term editorial licence and read about it. My point is ; if i modify it so it look still a bit like sean connery can i use it for the improbable case of publishing my game or it s better to forget about that asset and futhermore if i can exclude asset on editorial licence from my shopping list?

I saw there are prop too with editorial licence and i dont want be far in doing my AVN and one day see i use something likee that Xd.

Anyway thank for your answer and have a great week end great fellow daz studio user !

    I'm afraid that is not allowed. When the product is sold with an Editorial License that applies to any derivatives of it too, regardless of how they have been changed. This is true in general, making changes doesn't remove the license restrictions.
