"Filter By Context" Completely Random Question...

To help with my workflow, I like to select and unselect the FILTER BY CONTEXT option in the SMART CONTENT pane.

For whatever reason, whenever I unselect it now, the categories fold in on themselves. Now, I'm constantly clicking on the DEFAULT option to get the categories to expand. I switched computers, and redownloaded DAZ Studio. I don't remember doing this extra step.

Is it new or am I misremembering?

Is default there all alone or does it have any other categories beside it? If so then a recent purchase has been mis-categorised. You can fix it by clicking on that asset a recategorising it to the equivalent one within default.

    Good eye!

The material files for Ajax Outfit Sandals for Genesis 8.1 Males is there. How do I categorize them in the proper folders?

    EDIT...........

    Aha! Found out.

Content Library > Right Click > Categorize!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I don't have that item, but the sandals should be: default/Wardrobe/Footwear

The shoulder armor could either be default/Accessory/Torso or Arms or if treated as just armor, default/Wardrobe/Armor/Torso. Me, I would go with the Wardrobe, but Daz will often dump full armor sets into Accessories.

After that, click on the offending category that is upper level and 'Show in Content Library' and delete both items from it, then the product until the correct level is left.

I am writing this without Daz Studio open, so be cautious on the Content Library instruction.

You could also document this with a report to Customer Service and ask them to update the metadata. They will need to verify the issue and then elevate it.
