Saving ... good idea except when saving?

I've learned to save anytime I do much with the geometry editor.
But I wasn't using it.
But while I did create a plane and texture it and duplicate it and use it a few places.
And then I saved my work and daz committed suicide.
Now if I file the report I'll get no feedback
If I had changed something more in the scene would it not have crashed?
---
I'd be glad to send crash reports but apparently you can't just send them you have to fill out a customer service form to send a crash report.
If you click the submit a bug report you can fill out a request to file a bug report?
---
Now somehow it seems every other program I have if it crashes will open a crash report option they'll even ask me what I doing and then when I hit submit it just finds it way back to the company and turns itself in.
---
Does it seem logical that while I'm a little agitaed about the program crashing thinking about what I have to redo, I want to stop and fill a request to file a crash/bug report?

You can save the crash report by clicking the Save button shown in your screenshot.

I save them.. and it seems like way back you could just send them to the link. And that was it and done.
Filling out a ticket is more time then I want to put in when I have to deal with the time lost it a crash.
