About face group names in Blender

Hi,
When I import an Obj file created in Blender into DazStudio, the face group name becomes long as shown in the reference image, so I have to edit it every time.
I don't have a concept of face group in Blender, and I think that material name = face group, but for some reason they are not the same.
Is this the way it's supposed to be?
Or is there a way to avoid having to edit it?
Thank you.

What settings did you use when exporting OBJ from Blender ? Normally, if you do not check any Grouping option (ss1), no Group data will be exported. Or, if you uncheck Read Groups when importing OBJ in DS (ss2), no Group data will be read and imported.
Thanks for the advice.
I have the Grouping option turned on when exporting and the Read Groups option turned on when importing.
It might be a DazStudio specification.
I'm looking for a solution.
If you want to define "Face Groups" in Blender rather than in DS then import them into DS by using OBJ format, you should define "Face Groups" as Vertex Groups in Data panel. When exporting to OBJ, tick Vertext Group under Grouping as well as Materials.
After importing OBJ into DS, you'll get Surfaces and Face Groups with correct labels as expected.
Thanks for the advice.
I was mistaken.
I thought that DS face groups were Blender material names.
I didn't know that DS face groups were Blender vertex group names.
This was very helpful.
Thank you.
