...wow, must have been really tired, went to bed a little after midnight didn't fully wake up until 11:20 this morning.

Bit nicer today than yesterday, but still a few pockets of rain about the area.

These were the two critters I had drawn earlier;   The pinkish one is Tamamitsune -  Given the name Mizutsune for the English releases; not sure why the rename was necessary though  -  and the blue one is Lagiacrus.

Fun little piece of info about Tama though...  Is that males are more bright and vibrant than females, and have larger 'fins' along their back. However we did not know this when the creature was first shown to us, so most people just draw the brightly colored flashy one and then simply say whether its a male or female afterwards.

...really like the snakey one.  Leela would love the bubble dragon.

I really, really, really love the 'snakey' one.  <3  Tamie's a cutie too (And has been given the nickname "Bubbles"  x3)

Interesting, April felt more like June and early May felt more like July but the last half of the month seems to have done a turnabout and feel more like a normal April for these parts.

Seen it, not impressed. The sex, ultra violence and language seem "tacked on" and unnecessary as they do nothing to advance the plot and actually seem to subtract from the experience. Meh. To each her/his own.

I can only get addicted to a finite number of never-ending stories.  My current list includes "Gotham".  Granted, it has its share of gratuitous violence but at least it's obvious fantasy and there's no sex.  There's enough going on with the long but still developing Batman plot, the lunacy, and the unique mayhem.

Another never-ending story in my list is "Grimm".  Although it's getting a little predictable now.  Time to jump the shark.

But my favorite NES (never-ending shows) are the BBC America mysteries like "Vera", "Shetland", "Doc Martin", and the various "Masterpiece Mystery" series.  I love "Doc Martin" a town full of lunies that makes my situation here seem almost sane.frown

I've always been a Batman fan. It's very interesting to see this take on Bruce wayne as a young man.  And to see the variously famous villains' back stories.  I'm loving it!  But I don't remember ever hearing of Fish Mooney.  And she seems to be one of the most enduring villains in this show.  when I saw her pop up again, I shouted at the TV, "Why won't you die?!?!"  laugh

Yep, good show.  Also liked all the "Poirot" and "Inspector Morse" shows but they weren't actually never-ending and could mostly be seen independently.  I could never get interested in the "Vikings" but last year I got caught up in a similar show "The Last Kingdom" and am anxiously awaiting its return.  Recently I discovered another never-ending show, "Wallander" but unfortunately it's at the end of its run and will finish tonight presumably with his retirement or death. :-(  Although, death of the character (as well as the actor) didn't stop Morse from returning with at least two spin-offs. frown

Can't complain at that, since it's my local town. Not to mention the occasional chance for a gig as an extra. "Man walking past in corridor." Been there, done that!

When I lived in Washington DC during my muscular prime, I had my one time as an extra in a movie.  Actually it was a NSFYK (not suitable for your kids) type movie that took place in a DC gay/stripper/dancer  bar.  I came to the casting call in my leathers (as always) and when the director saw me he pointed at me and said "You, up here at the bar on the stool.  You're my token leatherman".  I was visible in the movie for about a total of 30 seconds and ended up as a small head in the background on the cover of the VHS tape carton.  No pay but we had food and drink all day long.

There's only two other creatures in the game - to my knowledge - that have obvious sexual dimorphism like this.  There's Rathian and Rathalos, where the former are female, green (Pink and Gold subspecies),  have a unique pattern on their wings (Looks kind of like a stylized moon or something :> ), quill-like barbs on their back, and a large spike jutting out from under their chin...  And the latter are males, red (Blue and Silver in their subspecie), and have flame-like patterns on their wings as well as a dark pattern along their underside. They've also got this strange and hard-to-draw crest on both sides of their jaws.

Jaggies are another species.  Females have large drooping ear 'frills', have a soft down on their underside, and only get to be around... Five feet or so tall I guess?  Males on the other hand, have larger and more rigid frills, spikes along their tail, and a fluffy mane along their back.  Also, they get like twice as big as the females xD

...Just a silly thing that ran through my mind a while back and felt like drawing.

The exact quote was from the (Disney’s) Gargoyles episode 'Ill Met By Moonlight’, and went as such:
Titiana: In Avalon, Oberon’s word is law.
Katherine: Does that mean he’s always right?
    Titiana: Not while he’s married.

My two goldfish are moved into my fifty five tank.  I also introduced two new goldfish.  Brett and Henry are the "old" fish and Charley and Callie are the new goldfish.  Brett is so greedy that I thought if I introduced the new fish at the same time as him to the new tank the new fish will have a better chance at calling the tank home and get enough to eat.

My goldfish are swimming at the end of the tank so they are the farthest point from me as possible.  I wish they would swim at the other end of the tank so I can watch them while I am at my computer

Edit not on my computer since it is updating oh wait now it is done updating.
