Ooooh man,  been away from the forums for ever and a day....

I was talking with a friend on Skype about composition works that feature large, dynamic scenes involving TONS of characters... And I recalled this scene that a user on these forums was making in Vue and Poser with 100+ characters in it... And I couldn't find the thread again xvx

It was aaaaages ago, so I don't even know if the thread still exists.  But I remember seeing it in progress;  the water area and all the dynamic intricate detail... And how he went on to make even bigger larger scenes in the future...... Ah.  Really a shame :(

Oh, and I have drawings I've done if anyone's interested in seeing my silly things still :D

hey *\0/**\0/*\0/*\0/*\0/*\0/*\0/*\0/* always interested in drawings and the scene with the 1000 (?) characters was the old forum pages I think :)

..yeah it was finally finished and the artist also paid homage to a number of Daz forumites.

Yep, made 57, might manage to reach 60, lolol!!!

And for my 57th. birthday I release a new track, "Dark Night Of The Soul":

    https://soundcloud.com/synthetic_aurality/dark-night-of-the-soul

Around 12 minutes or so long, longest single track I ever composed, and my keyboard controller died towards the end so I had to finish  it upby placing notes with the mouse. indecision Can't afford  a new controller until I find work, so I'll be rolling tje rodent to create any new music...

...goes very well with PS1's clouds.

...managed to dodge the rain on my trip to the market (waited it out at a favourite watering hole).  Currently enjoying a late dinner of triple bacon pizza.

...didn't enjoy the struggle to open the container of parmesan cheese as the inner liner shredded and I had to find something to poke a hole in it so I could remove the layers that were still glued to the container. I swear to be a packaging designer one must have a demented sense of humour when it comes to us arthritics to qualify for the job.

Someone needs to superglue their coffee cups computer mice, and keyboards to their desks. devil

Seen it, not impressed. The sex, ultra violence and language seem "tacked on" and unnecessary as they do nothing to advance the plot and actually seem to subtract from the experience. Meh. To each her/his own.

These were the two critters I had drawn earlier;   The pinkish one is Tamamitsune -  Given the name Mizutsune for the English releases; not sure why the rename was necessary though  -  and the blue one is Lagiacrus.

Fun little piece of info about Tama though...  Is that males are more bright and vibrant than females, and have larger 'fins' along their back. However we did not know this when the creature was first shown to us, so most people just draw the brightly colored flashy one and then simply say whether its a male or female afterwards.

I can only get addicted to a finite number of never-ending stories.  My current list includes "Gotham".  Granted, it has its share of gratuitous violence but at least it's obvious fantasy and there's no sex.  There's enough going on with the long but still developing Batman plot, the lunacy, and the unique mayhem.

Another never-ending story in my list is "Grimm".  Although it's getting a little predictable now.  Time to jump the shark.

But my favorite NES (never-ending shows) are the BBC America mysteries like "Vera", "Shetland", "Doc Martin", and the various "Masterpiece Mystery" series.  I love "Doc Martin" a town full of lunies that makes my situation here seem almost sane.frown

Yep, good show.  Also liked all the "Poirot" and "Inspector Morse" shows but they weren't actually never-ending and could mostly be seen independently.  I could never get interested in the "Vikings" but last year I got caught up in a similar show "The Last Kingdom" and am anxiously awaiting its return.  Recently I discovered another never-ending show, "Wallander" but unfortunately it's at the end of its run and will finish tonight presumably with his retirement or death. :-(  Although, death of the character (as well as the actor) didn't stop Morse from returning with at least two spin-offs. frown

...really like the snakey one.  Leela would love the bubble dragon.
