and Priscilla, heard it was the Australian version of Rocky Horror

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert?  One of my all-time favorite movies.

"Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" also a dear movie to me.  Saw it just after I'd made a decision to visit Australia for a month.  I didn't climb the Olgas in a gown but I was there and in Alice Springs and I thought of the movie several times.   Weird to realize that one of the gay troupe was the bad guy in "The Matrix".

Just went and poked your SoundCloud (what can I say - years ago I used to be a DJ) and for the most part I was impressed with the quick flick through the first few tracks (listening to a few seconds of each and moving on - the way I used to when I was auditioning new tunes to spin when out and about!). There was only one out of them that I heard I didn't like - BeatDown - I found the drums in that one kinda jarred with everything else, as though they were just a fraction out of time.

The rest, however, strongly remind me of things like Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works vol 2, or some of the more laid back stuff by Future Sounds of London.....

Why, thanks for listening!  BeatDown is a matter of taste, I have 50/50 responses.. people either love it or hate it.

I really appreciate the comments - keps me in the studio, composing! laughblush

Don't know if I can retain my sanity without killing someone/something, it's boring as heck.. if I can just get the foot fixed before I up and quit..

...I was in that situation for years.  Not so much the job though as all the workplace politik along with the epic three bus commute each way each day.

I actually really liked what I did, just not the atmosphere I worked in for the crappy wage I received..

Yes, Hugo Weaving/Agent Smith.  Image below is Hugo Weaving as "Mitzi del Bra".

And if you'd want to dress up I can't think of a more suggestive movie than "Priscilla QOTD", just dig out your make-up case and raid a fabric shop and go to it!

Morning. Sweet scent of rain everywhere and water dripping from every verandah and roof ridge bringing a shine to glassy towers looming through very low cloud (or very high mist) this sunless morning. And not complaint: day off for me I woulda kept working but meh nobody can do anything without a smartphone and there's not much difference between a swipe and a raindrop on a glassy screen today, haz causing some laugh-out-louds :)

I was the weird one...I loved lemons!  When the family went to a restaurant (didn't happen very often) I'd take the lemon slice and bite into it, and everyone around the table would make that sour puss!  It was funny!
