New Orleans has those po'boy hoagies.  yummi nomms   or used to, haven't been there since the 90s

    TGIFfffff

...looks like further up Bourbon, out of the main tourist area.

Haven't been there since the late 70s.

Not only do I miss Po Boys, but Crawdad Bakes, Takee Outeees (a chain of Chinese take out places that serve food on a skewer), Felix's Oyster Bar (no longer on Canal St.), "Having Fun" at Pat O'Brien's, and of course sitting at Cafe Du Monde drinking coffee and noshing on Beignets.  Used to ride the St Charles Streetcar every day to and from work and into town (lived up in the Garden District just off St Charles on Napoleon).

Well, Blak for G3M is out yet I just cannot stop wondering:

Why is it like every Daz male character has a thick thick thick lip?!

And when can I get a decent anime-styled spiky hair for males without loading tons of existing hairstyles and mixing them?

And manga -NOT-TOON- style male characters?

I visited New Orleans once back in '82.  Spent one night in the French Quarter.  I remember some of it.  I do remember my other half and I waking up the next morning on a 2nd floor wrought iron balcony overlooking Bourbon St., naked.

throww on a few bead strings, smiley.  too hot there to wear clothes

Some of us don't come up so good in a few strings of beads....

...attached is a pic of the neighbourhood and the apartment house I lived in as it looks today.  The building with the large garage door and sign on it nearest the camera used to be a firehouse when I lived there.  On the other side of the apartment building is a sports bar named Fat Harry's which was a hangout for the Tulane University crowd (we called it "Frat Harry's").

Apparently there is now a bus line on Napoleon, there wasn't one when I lived there.

St Charles Ave is by the traffic light

Looks nice, more like a boulevard than a street. Napolean Street? Don't see many French street names here, if only Laperouse had stuck around a bit longer things might be different :)

Thick lips are supposedly sexy and sex sells.  Personally though, I don't see the attraction and find it hilarious when perfectly lovely women pay money to get fish lips that make them look like, well... fish. frown

But isn't there a DAZ morph to thin or thicken the lips?

those old opera lyrics are public domain?  enlightened

can think of one might make cute song for aiko to sing?
    re-stylized as easy listening

the vagner ring operas dont seem to have much lyrics, repeats often.

if i totally made up words wouldnt have to worry about rhyming lol

havent seen many operas, Lincoln Center had a preferred set.
    La Boheme
    Carmen
Der Rosenkavalier - saw once  not to be confused with The Name of the Rose movie.

...ugh, winter's trying to make a last stand here.  Low to mid 40s with rain and a high wind warning for the entire weekend.  Just wanna stay indoors.

Meanwhile, was 73º in Steven's Point WI but in a few days it will be snowing there again. People say that without the change of seasons it would be boring.  I don't know, my joints and bones would have no problem with 75º - 80º everyday.

Warm here for this time of year, was 80+ at 4 am one morning last week, most of us were zombies by Friday night, getting up to do it all again yesterday was torture :)

    You're thinking of John Adams.

But isn't there a DAZ morph to thin or thicken the lips?

There is. But unless I buy it and later shrink the lip it's hard to tell whether the modified "thin lip" version will suit personal taste.

I can paste a layer of thin lip previously made above the promo image and imagine what it would look like but sometimes the result looks hilarious.

Just need a place to complain. Sorry if it's not in the relevent post.

...this is the place, you're fine.
