Active / Protected Morphs - What does that mean?

DrGonzo62DrGonzo62 Posts: 368
December 2024 in Blender Discussion

Hi,
I tried a Google search to find an explanation for Active and/or Protected morphs in the Diffeo Runtime panel, but couldn't find anything.
Not sure if that is a Blender functionality, or something only in the Diffeo plugin?
If this is actually mentioned in the Diffeo Morphs docu, then I didn't see it.

Protected morphs have been removed in the latest version as the concept was indeed confusing and not too useful.

    OK, thanks Padone.
How about active vs inactive morphs?
Setting a morph that's being used as inactive doesn't seem to have any effect as far as I was able to tell.

The active flag is useful to select those morphs we want to handle. So inactive morphs will not be affected by the operators.
