Can you selectively load preferences in Blender?

Hi,
Is there a way to selectively load & save user preferences in Blender like you can do in DAZ?
I'm talking about the ability to load only certain prefs instead of all of them at once.

DS let's you save our render prefs for example separate from key mapping changes you've made etc, as well as other user prefs.
Blender only seems to have a single configuration for everything as far as I can tell.

So, if you have to load the factory defaults because something got messed up in your settings, you have to re-configure every aspect of your configuration.
Is there maybe an add-on for this?

    For general help you may find better answers at a blender site, this is more for daz conversions. Personally I don't know if there's addons to save preferences subsets, or if blender handles it. But you can of course backup your preferences, I mean before eventually messing it up.

    OK, thanks.
    I figured, that DS users would know what I'm asking about regarding selective loading & saving of user prefs.
    Seems that Blender doesn't have that feature as far as I can tell.

    After working with Blender for a few weeks now, it seems that it's a "you win some, you lose some" situation when migrating from DS to Blender, and I'm still not sure that this would be a worthwhile endeavor for me.
    There are many things that DS does a lot better than Blender for my work. No real surprise, since DS is a lot more focused due to its limited workflow and tool set.
    Blender tries to let you do everything, but falls often short as far as I can tell.
    For example, I had to purchase a material picker addon for Blender. Something that comes natively with DS, and is something I use frequently when setting up a scene.
    Or selective management of user prefs... angel

    Yes, blender doesn't handle material sets the same as daz studio does, this is because in blender all the materials are global and shared in the scene and not local to a object. However with diffeomorphic there's some tools to handle material sets.
