Are you using DS 4.22, and have you upgraded your default resources?

That should be part of Daz Studio default ressources and is the new strand based hair shader.

Which version of Daz Studio are you using?

Ok, I see. I'm still using 4.20 because I'm always afraid about upgrades. so this is the problem

You can install the latest DS Public Build while keeping your older version of DS. Then you can make Omni shader work with the latest Default Resources package.

You need to install the latest version of Daz Studio Default resources pack too.
