Daz seem to have adopted some strategy of late that stuff released in 2025 doesn't get to show up in back catalogue sales.
Which is both weird and frustrating. There's various stuff I didn't see or didn't need when it first came out, but which I've since decided I would like, yet which I don't desperately need... so why would I buy them at full price, because for all I flipping well know, Daz will decide two days after I do that actually they are going to have a "Best of 2025 sale". But the longer something sits on my wishlist, the more likely I am to decide that actually I don't need it, or I get fed up enough to find a way to kitbash something similar, or whatever, at which point I'll no longer have an interest in it. So I think this is at risk of really quite denting the back catalogue value of these items.
A question, what makes you buy an item like this ? Do you use as is or modify it ? I wondered this, because when I look at this and more of those interiors, is has zero appeal to me. It's cold, too clean, books without titles, just different colors. It's not a home, it\'s a mausoleum with furniture.
I make a recurring comic. I need interiors that work in the real world for panel to panel consistency. The books will be replaced. The walls need to make sense first so that when the camera turns, the view is consist with prior panels.
The fact that there are connect spaces is more useful than the decor. Do I end up spending a lot of time arranging furnishings? Sure. But it's easier to move shelving or resurface book spines than it it to rearrange the windows.
Sad face, Elleque has stopped supporting G8/8.1. Their new dress set https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-pret-aster-for-genesis-9-feminine would have been wishlisted for sure, so cute. Not an instabuy today as instabought Cayman's new G9 for G8/8.1M UVs...now if I can just get the script to work I'll be a happy bunny.
Elleque is a unique artist. I am very happy, that she still publish new items.
Elleque is definitely an extremely good artist judging by what's on her store page. She is however, very niche. I can't imagine her style is of wide appeal, it's not the sort of stuff I'd use myself.
Feng's Aunt Grizelda is a stunning model. A nice G9 counterpart for Hagred for G8 (and Circle for G8 too).
Are Princess' dForce hairs strand-based?
I wishlisted one and personally hope it isn't
I currently use the SciFi Pop hair By ChevyBabe as a disturbingly high poly obj export in Carrara, iClone, Twinmotion and gotta stop falling in love with the strandbased styles
@Gordig, I have four of PrincessPa's hairs and they are all strand-based and use Omni shaders. Parts of them are able to be simulated or not depending on the style of the hair, such as an updo that would be damaged by simulating, but other parts are fine. The PA doesn't go crazy with a lot of colors but that is what shader packs help with. And none of the promos were clear on what they were, I just had to load each one up to verify what they were onto G9B to check.
Whereas I personally buy and use strand-based hair almost exclusively.

I actually like both a strandbased and mesh based version of any hairdo
Strandbased is awesome for Filament and where I mostly use it
iray however I prefer cutout opacity based hair as it can be very voluminous and complex (I use 3 or more hairs on a head sometimes)
strandbased simply is too coarse or heavy if made fine and dense enough

According to the description it isn't just a st ole: There's the anklet, the armlets, the bracelets, the crown, the neckbands, and panties in addition to the sto le.
Give it a linen gown underneath and it would be appropriate for a preist(ess) or the like, with ot without the accessories
To me it looks like an accessory pack to use with an actual outfit.
Both xD the costume and accessories come with it but it's very good for kitbashing

I don't see anything on this product. It looks pretty cool, actually.
It looks like an amazing product that will require time to learn how to use to its fullest. And I don't know when I would have that time. And I don't have a pressing need for the content. For that reason, it goes on the wishlist.
It is pretty amazing and pretty intuitive. The hair comes in various pieces which is parented to a hair cap so it is perfect for that fringe under a cap or a wisp of hair under a hood, as well as whole hairstyles, beards, face vellus hair, hats (!), materials, shaders as well as shaders to change the density.

I like Ansiko's work in general and the new one today is no exception, other than it appears the pants cannot close in front. I would truly like to know how many women, or men, ride around on a tractor doing their work with their pants open like that. I don't see a morph in the file list to close them, or in the promo images. Too bad, the clothing set is great, as is the tractor detail.
